About Me
I’m a hobby writer from the Netherlands, so please keep in mind that English is my second language.
When I’m not writing, I’m usually busy being a mom to my son or spending time with my dog, Bub (or both).About My Writing
I write slow. I prefer taking things step-by-step, focusing on a single perspective to really get into the internal battles and the thoughts that don't always make it out loud.
Most of my stories center on Vinnie—usually alongside Charley—dealing with the fallout of the war. I don't shy away from the darker side of that: the mental scars, the loss, and the messy ways people (and alien mice coming from Mars) try to cope when things fall apart.

My ADHD sometimes prevents me from finishing a story before starting a new one. This is annoying, yes, but also just how my brain works. I've learned to accept it. You should probably do the same if you want to ride along.Motivation
I think I speak for all writers when I say that comments really are the best motivator, and with comments, I mean more than just 'Loved it!' (although these are very appreciated too, of course).
It's not about wanting to hear how good you are as a writer or fishing for compliments; it's about knowing what goes on in the reader's mind. Also, it helps to know that there are people out there who read your story, the very one you spend hours working on. Without some serious feedback, it's hard to beat writer's block.Social Media
