I'm not a serious writer, but I entertain fantasies of being one.
I know I need practice, I know that everybody writing out there needs practice. So far, fanworks are a great way to keep chugging at a story and not stop, not stall out after a quick fad where I wrote ten thousand words of awesome and promptly deleted it.
