ABOUT ME:
I'm Winny, a thirty-something computer tech from Columbus, OH. My husband is amazingly tolerant of my Ninja Turtles addiction. I'm an avid reader as well as a writer and an artist when the mood strikes me. Unfortunately, my muse can be a fickle mistress. I've also got a kid on the spectrum who is just starting school, and that leaves me with a lot less free time to write than I used to enjoy.
It's always hard for me to pick a 'favorite' turtle. It's probably a tie between Donatello and Raphael at the moment. Truthfully, I find things I adore about ALL of the major characters in this fandom. I have a blast portraying the turtles especially, and all four have a very special place in my heart.
ABOUT MY TMNT VERSE:
Most of my fics are set sometime after the events of the 2007 CGI film, but they pull backstory from a hodgepodge of other verses such as the 2003 series, the original Mirage comics, and the first live action movie. I believe 2007 CGI movie is probably the only recommended prerequisite for enjoying my work.
I do NOT write fics for or acknowledge any events from Old Toon, Archie, Image, or 4th volume Mirage comics. As for the more current incarnations... I don't write Bayverse turtles (though Out of the Shadows was great), and even though I do watch the 2012 series, I won't be writing any fanfics set in that verse. The tone is too silly and lighthearted for my writing style. So sorry to disappoint you, kiddies! The only thing I borrowed from the 2012 Nick toon was having Mike occasionally refer to Donatello as "D". Because, well... that's adorable.
