Bio

I struggle to write anything in sequential order and I am easily distracted. As a result, I am painfully slow to update. To all the active readers of my work, I apologize for those failings as a writer, and your patience is greatly appreciated. I have several ongoing works, some of which have not been updated in more than a year, but I do plan on finishing all of them. None will be abandoned.

I created my character, Naseema and her ancient race, the Feeonix, specifically for Lt. Commander Data because he was totally robbed of a decent romantic interest after the death of Tasha Yar, who I honestly didn't like anyway. I invested far too much in that one line, "It never happened."

I have treated Naseema as an integrated canon character because I feel that Data would be far more likely to fall in love with someone he'd already known a long time rather than someone new. I also wanted to explore a character that had immense power, like a dowd or a Q, and what the repercussions of such power would be like for them, and those around them. She has since taken on a life of her own and is almost always the main character in my stories.

I've been a Star Trek fan since the late '80s and I've always appreciated the humour and ridiculousness in Trek. This is reflected in my stories which are generally over-the-top, sometimes silly, and always self-indulgent. I love my favourite characters over everything else, and I also love vintage romance novels, so those will feature heavily in everything I write.

Thank you to everyone who reads my work, and especially those who take the time to leave a kudos or comment. Those are always appreciated but I will be upfront about the fact that I write purely for my own enjoyment and am not really looking for concrit. An extra special thank you to those readers who are patient enough to hang around for updates and offer encouragement, it really does make a difference.
