Hello! I'm cipher-kei. It's been a while since I've tried writing fanfiction (or any kind of writing at all). I work full-time and it gets pretty hectic so this is where I go when I need a break. Most of my interests lie in anime and manga (in terms of writing fanfictions), but I've never felt like I've had a solid enough story in mind to actually publish. That being said, I finally do! Most of it is My Hero Academia, and until I finish 'Tidal', it's unlikely I'll publish stories under different categories. But ideas are always brewing! If you scroll through my list bookmarks, that should give you a good idea of what kind of fics I read lol. Hopefully you find something you like, too!
So far, I have three stories featuring three different MHA OC's, each with their own universe (I dread Kagami interacting with either Miko or Kae). I take pride in the fact that they're all vastly different from each other, and thus take pride in the fact that their respective stories are so different too. With these three characters, I really hope to explore different genres and see how their presence in the MHA universe affects Horikoshi's world. Each of these original characters were created for that purpose. I wanted to write about villains, Kagami was born. I wanted to try my hand at teenage romance, Kae was born.
That being said, Miko Tsukikawa, will always have a special place in my heart since she's my first creation and has gone through most extensive development. Literally, months went into creating her and her universe. Her story is probably the most personal (I know, a taboo) as I have put a lot of myself in her character. I took "write what you know" very literally in the genesis of my writing. So Tidal is likely not as great as I would like it to be atm, but that's future cipher_kei's problem. Kagami and Kae were both created on a whim, but I'm excited to see where their stories go.
