I'm older than dirt and I've been in fandom since the early 1980s. I used to publish fanzines and letterzines (what we had to use to discuss our fave fandoms before the internet). I was a prolific fanfic writer years ago and have just gotten back into it. Right now my fave fandoms are Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, but I still read Stargate: Atlantis and Emergency!.
