Summary
Hiwa's life begins when she is woken up in a field of skeletons by an uptight robot intent on her survival. Only 7 years into the aftermath of the millenium-long Collapse of all human civilization, Hiwa has no hope of reinforcement or backup. She and her ghost are entirely on their own. Follow her in her attempts to survive and forge connections with the people around her when she can return from death and they cannot.
An altered universe, though most things stay canon-consistent. The events of Destiny are set in a solar system called Hestia. Changes are mostly that it has more variety in life forms, and Loam is Earth's equivalent.
