I'm trying to transfer more of my stuff from fanfiction.net onto Ao3, and I post a lot of minifics and drabbles on tumblr under durotoswrites.
Hello everyone. My name is Elizabeth, but I also go by Liz. Written words have always been easier to express myself than spoken, and I've found comfort in writing stories. It's been very therapeutic for me, and I hope you enjoy reading the stories as much as I enjoy writing them. If my writing has made you feel something, then I have done my job. My belief as a writer is that pretty much every plot has been done before. However, if you can make good, believable characters, they can drive the story, and you can end up writing anything!
As you can probably tell, I am a HUGE fan of the Harvest Moon series, and I am especially interested in the world of Mineral Town. The characters are fascinating and very fun to expand on. Hopefully, throughout my different stories, you will be able to get a feel for the culture of Mineral Town that I have created; you may see some elements from other games, and I hope that helps create the idea that Mineral Town is just a small village in a large farming community.
A lot of my characters are a blend of the different versions of them in the games I've played. Hopefully you will find that my characters are a unique twist.
I have put a ridiculous amount of research into my stories including Japanese Culture and customs, medicine, botany, animal husbandry, winemaking, religion, blacksmithing, actual farming, and falconry, just to name a few. I have really enjoyed learning new things to add to my writing, and if you have any questions about anything in my stories, or if you want to talk about your own works, feel free to send me a PM - I don't bite.
