And as people keep asking, how to read Code Red (unless I somehow get lots of time and build a single story):

  • Main: Code Red Preludes - read in series order. (it's chronological order, except for one that overlaps a couple of episodes).
  • Then if you're bored the Post Impact pieces I wrote first, they aren't that good but you can see some of the initial ideas and how my writing style has changed / hopefully improved. It does have Misato having a bad time and Shinji hallucinating Neko-Rei though.
  • Code: Rei-peat - CodeRed!Rei looping. She is not impressed. You don't need to have read Preludes, but it might help. Things are going slightly differently.
  • Then whatever's left if you're still interested (Hikari, Misato's birthday, Minisukas, etc)
