Bio

i tend to alternate between heavy canon divergence and canon compliance depending on how i feel about the work. i like exploring what could have been and i like applying new angles to what i enjoy. i use fic as a vehicle for character and work analysis and to explore the potential a piece of media has more often than not. any alternate universes i entertain are thus likely to be high-concept or otherwise framing the work or its characters in a light i think is interesting to explore.

i like grief and deceit and people being messes. i like complex people in complex relationships. i often try to write about people who suck without having to explicitly say they suck; i am always trying to improve at this. i am not particularly interested in shipping, so romance that appears in what i write is often because i am really fond of the dynamic or otherwise find it somehow compelling in that setting.

my content is generally edited by friends, and i will mention them in the author's notes at their behest. always feel free to translate, remix, or podfic -- just let me know and send me a link! i would love to see.

i do not use social media and have no interest in being reached out to on other platforms. if you have a question for me, you are free to ask in the comments, and i will reply when i am able.

i lead a very busy life and tend to spend what free time i do have writing. as such, i don't often respond to comments unless they have some specific question as i just don't have the energy these days, but please know i appreciate every single one and it makes my day to receive one.
