Bio
A little bit about me. I love to read, I love to read a lot. I only recently rediscovered fanfiction a few months ago (When I was 12 years old, I was a massive fan of Pokémon fanfiction) and got hooked again.
I'm a bit of a stickler for well-written stories, if someone starts using txt/l337 speak I close the window. For texting/IMing someone that's fine, but not for writing a story. Same for bad grammar and punctuation. There's plenty of spell checkers online and on computers, so there's really no excuse for it.
One thing I can't stand is when a non Japanese story suddenly uses Japanese words to describe the sexual roles in a couple. It shows a remarkable lack of understanding how two guys actually work together. Basically, bad slash sucks. Two guys together in a non-Japanese setting doesn't mean "seme" and "uke" should be pulled out. That's really not how people talk.
I'm a reader, not really a writer. However I firmly believe that in order to judge something, you first must experience it. So I expect that when I get time and patience I'll contribute some stories of my own.
Story-wise, my favourites are the following.
Merlin (BBC)
I'm a fan while only seeing a few episodes. Merlin x Arthur were my crack for a period.Glee
One of the first areas I got into, was Kurt x Sam. I don't like Kurt x Dave because he crossed a line with the death threats. You can't write that away.
I also love Blaine, but I can mix it up a bit (Blaine x Kurt x Sam is a favourite).Teen Wolf
Started out loving Stiles x Derek. Still love it, but I also love Stiles x Scott. But Sterek forever, the way the community created quality while being abused by others and the show creators is just amazing. I don't care about the show, it's the fan fiction I'm here for.
