I have been writing fanfic since the early-nineties, back when the only place you could post it was usenet. I might post some of it eventually. We'll see - it feels pretty dated these days. Suffice to say I'm well past my million words of crap phase.I work full time and am also a mom, so I only manage to squeeze fanfic in around the edges these days. I look forward to getting old enough to retire and do more fun and less people-wrangling. But occasionally, one must write a giant fanfic about blowing stuff up to let the rage out, so. Superheros ahoy.
I enjoy reading smut from time to time, but don't much feel the need to write it. Also, I think there are far too few books involving people who are friends with each other and don't have unresolved romantic tension, so that's what I write.
