I came here for Johnlock. I expanded my interests into other Sherlock pairings, then Dragon Age (especially Inquisition), then Maurice and Check Please. I'm a sucker for omega!Sherlock and top!John and first kisses and apocalypse AUs. I'm squicked by incest and graphic mpreg and some RPF. AO3 has broadened my horizons, taught me what I like, and surprised me more than I can say.

Then Schitt's Creek came along. I see parallels to Sherlock in it, because I see parallels to Sherlock in everything, and it felt like we finally got a little bit of our Johnlock happily-ever-after in David and Patrick. So maybe that's part of why it's the fandom that finally made me become a fic writer, not just a fic reader.

I was on a road trip in accursed 2020 when my first idea for a Schitt's Creek fic popped into my head. I got to my hotel that night and wrote it like pouring out a glass of water. It had been years since I'd done any creative writing, and I had forgotten how good it feels and how much I like doing it.

I really enjoy reading works without grammar, spelling, or word-use errors. I am a professional in the world of publishing and would be delighted, time permitting, to be a beta and help any good writer turn a perfectly lovely fic into a perfectly lovely fic without errors. I've worked for years in both US and UK English.
