Fair warning, I am prone to over-researching and over-thinking things. I also rarely work in linear order, so there's usually a decent chunk of verbiage on my WIP's where I just haven't filled in the chapter between here and there yet when I have a long delay between updates. *Metal Heart and Truce/Strange Ways are still my babies and have stuff written for them I still need to get to*, and I have a WIP OG-Paladin thing to post expanding on the Coran fic!
I may randomly fandom skip; I'm recovering from "I worked in a hospital during the pandemic" and slowly dusting off - most of my unfinished shit is GOING TO BE FINISHED DAMN IT and has WIP stuff to post and new chapters, I'm just getting back to working on them as I get my brain back together for doing creative things.
For the curious, the Primo-Gen KHR things are somewhat historically based - the clothing and other things shown do give a general date-range for when they were active, which places them around the tail end of the Italian Unification War; while the war itself would've ended during their day, there was some continued upheaval that continued into World War I, which, being fringe/vigilante as they were, meant that they would've been involved pretty much their entire lives, and I research things way too damn much for fics for a shounen series. I also spent way too much time figuring out timelines, timing, and bits for the references to Eighth Gen and WWII that comes up in some of the modern KHR fics.
I basically have two modes - short scenes and "...Did I beat Tolkien's word count again? Fuck.".
On an important note, I am also an introvert who works a sometimes brain intensive job; if I do not reply to comments I have seen them and appreciate them, I am just working on finding the brain to respond!
