Just a girl who works with comic books in a big academic research library who writes this and that on the side for fun.

Current obsessions include Outlander, Penny Dreadful, and Poldark. I love historical dramas, especially ones set in Scotland, but England and Ireland will do in a pinch. Alba gu brath.

I am a big fan of comics, especially graphic novels. I do like my superheros as well. I prefer reading DC to Marvel (quality over quantity) and watching Marvel movies over DC (just better movies). I can talk about comics until the end of time. Mainstream favorites include: Hellboy, Batman, Hellblazer, Sex Criminals, Saga, Dead Edwardians, and The Walking Dead. I adore the graphic writers Chris Ware, Chester Brown, Lynda Berry, Gabrielle Bell, Nils Anders, and Joe Sacco. One of my passions is early 20th century American newspaper comic strips.

I am spending a lot of my time trying to figure exactly how Aidan Turner can be so ridiculously handsome that it almost hurts to look at him. Ditto for Sam Heughan, Charlie Hunnam, Cillian Murphy, Richard Rankin, and Richard Armitage.

I am a firm believer in the oxford comma.

I also like cats. Tuxedo toms in particular.
