Buffy the Vampire Slayer played a minor part in my marriage, enough that we briefly considered using Nerfherder's theme music in our ceremony. Before we were dating, my then-best-friend was trying to convince me to watch it, and I finally agreed to co-buy the entire series with him on DVD when it was on sale (£25 each, which I considered an acceptable expense if I hated it). Then we spent at least one night a week together, every week, watching it. And the rest, as they say, is history!
