I love fireworks. And the planetarium. I like floating out past the break for hours and hours pretending to be a mermaid and watching the waves from underneath until my eyes go red from the salt. I love glow sticks and driving in summer with the windows down and hot wind blowing on my face and in my hair. I love green Coola cordial that's crowded with ice, and piling my hair high on my head in silly looking blobs. I love my feet and my nose ring and my short stumpy teeth. I love the smell and silence of snow and any time I can see stars is a good time. I love sunflowers because I have sunflowers in my eyes. I love the painting that hangs in my kitchen and the avocado-shaped avocado bowls. I love avocados and mangos and mountains of pasta. I love chocolate with salt and berries. I love stuffed toys and my mum wearing her warmies. I love making gnocchi with my dad and laughing until I cry with my sisters. I love laughing until I cry or sometimes even wheeze. I love music- so much so that I can't even put it in words. I love a poncho and a feather and a streak in my hair. I love to crawl into bed bone tired and whimper with gratitude and fall into a deep sleep and never move until sunlight and the cooking of something delicious wakes me.
I also love theme parks - the weirder and kookier, the better.
