It starts, rather unsurprisingly, with an exorcism.
They begin the way they always they do (with some unsuspecting victim, head twisting one hundred and eighty degrees, voice like the wind when it howls and slams windows back and forth during a storm, strength and violence that surpasses the capacity of the host) and finishes the way they are ought to (with prayers in an obsolete tongue that that only finds its use in situations such as this, a crucifix raised and holy water thrown just so, in unwavering faith that's been tested again and again.)
There's no reason it shouldn't have ended right then and there.

There are some realizations that Aomine doesn't mind having. Welcomes them, in fact, depending on how greedy he's feeling at that moment. Point is, there's plenty of good surprises to be had, small pleasures but pleasures all the same, and Aomine, in theory, should be unable to get enough of them, if only there weren't also some unpleasant surprises in store for him that he had no way of being prepared for.

"Take me to him, or I'll—" Frustration cuts off the end of his sentence, flickers his fire on and off. Dark blue eyes regard him with amusement, slowing down enough to walk towards him, like maybe his threat level's gone down to pitiable lows.
"I'm waiting," his opponent says, and it's a combination of desperation and quick thinking that has Taiga catching him off guard to pull him forward, mouths colliding with all roughness and no amount of grace.
Tatsuya would've laughed at him, would've said, that's not how you seduce your enemy, Taiga.
But if the man's reaction is any indication—tongue grazing Taiga's teeth, hand fisting in Taiga's hair—his method works just fine, thank you very much.
