I always wondered if Sam and Jack got together. Did they ever go fishing at the cabin? Alone? Did she make that souffle for him? Did he teach her how to fiddle with his telescope? Ah, so many questions. I found my first fanfic by googling "Sam and Jack, Stargate," and I was shocked at the amount of wonderful, creative fiction out there dealing with my two favorite characters. In 2014 , I tried my hand at writing my first fic, "To Overcome." It was a great experience and brought me a kind of personal fulfillment that is hard to describe.
