Bio

I remember the days when I used to write all the time; funny how a mix of life and bushels of anxiety can change things around. I’ve finally orphaned the fics I did have up on AO3—I really don’t identify with them anymore, but I appreciated the attention they garnered.

My name’s Derek, but you can also call me Wind—an interwebs pseudonym that I’ve grown accustomed to, fond of even. I’ve been known by many other nicknames besides in the past, but I’d rather stick with either of those. I’m a queer trans nb dude (he/him & they/them), I love writing, drawing, video games, animals, and especially my cat. She’s my fucking little princess and the only lady I need in my life.

You can find me a number of places, but lbr—if you’re here, you’re probably into Critical Role as I’ve really only been reading CR fics. In such a case, you’ll likely find my tumblr and maybe, even, twitter of interest. I post a fair amount of CR fan art on my tumblr, @doodamancy. (I’ve also began posting the occasional CR drabbles on my tumblr as well—if I accumulate enough, I might consider posting them here.) I tweet on the rare occasion @windsocktier.
