Work Text:

Zen-Oppa~

How you’d melt the moment I’d let those words pop out, every time. I adore seeing you melt like that.

To my words.

My actions.

My touch.

Always holding me up, supporting me in anything I did. Even though most of what I was doing was just supporting you Oppa.

“My Zen.” I’d say.

“Your Zen.” You’d reply, usually your head on my lap. You’d blush every time saying that.

Cute.

I hope I don’t inflate your ego even more when I admit how perfect you are, how much I love you, how I love how you always have an arm around me- keeping me pressed up close against you. It didn’t matter where; at an event? At home?

Anywhere.

You always liked having me right next to you, when you took breaks on set I always laughed when you would come so eagerly towards me almost running. I would laugh and you would laugh with me.

We laughed often.

We held hands often.

We… loved each other every moment.

I was ecstatic when you told me you got a theater gig among your T.V. and movie ones. I mean as much as I liked seeing you on the screen, you always belonged on the stage Oppa.

That’s your element.

Live.

Under those harsh stage lights, breaking a sweat in the midst of it of course, but it’s where you’re used to. It’s home. The stage is your home, and I was so excited I was going to see my Zen up on the stage again, looking seven feet tall and bigger and larger than life itself, like a true actor!

I’m sorry I was running late.

I was half an hour drive away and the show was in twenty.

I told the cab driver to step on it.

You always did tell me there’s no need to rush.

They did. They rushed. That’s why they ran the red light.

But jeez that truck was going fast wasn’t it?

I wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. I mean it’s a cab come on.

Dead on arrival.

At least they didn’t interrupt your show.

At least I didn’t interrupt your show. I would have hated for that to happen. I would’ve hated to have done that to you.

It’s ok.

It was my fault anyways, Oppa.
