Chapter Text
Mates?! Soulmates?!
What the fuck was going on?!
Deku stared at Katsuki with disbelief.
"No!! NO!" Bakugou screamed as he glared at Midoriya from the other end of the room.
All the other students stepped back, moving away from the newly presented couple. Their backs hitting the wall behind them.
"This can't be happening." Deku mumbled, eyes tearing up.
"He'll kill me!"
"Deku?" Uraraka frowned at her friend, worring her lower lip.
Midoriya turned to her.
"I can't. He- he will."
As she stepped closer, she gasped, covering her mouth and nose.
"Oh God! You, you've presented! You're in heat."
Deku looked to her, tears streaming down his face.
"I'm an Omega?" He frowned, his heartbeat picking up speed.
He was the only Omega in a room full of Alphas.
Well, shit.
"We need to get him out of here." Todoroki spoke up, snapping everyone out of their sudden shock.
"Yes! Indeed! We need to get him to Recovery Girl!" Iida yelled, trying to gain everyone's attention.
Iida looked around the room, everyone was covering their noses, some even hiding their faces in their shirt. Tho he noticing a few of them weren't being affected by Midoriya's phenomenons at all.
"Asui! Mineta! I need your assistance in taking Midoriya to the infirmary-" he was cut off.
"Like hell you're going to fucking touch him!" Bakugou snarled, making his hands spark as a warning, before he started crawling over to his mate who was on the ground still crying.
"Everyone get out!" Todoroki yelled as Midoriya's scent got stronger with the added smell of distressed Omega.
The rest of the class piled out of the room until it was just a handful of them left.
"Uraraka, go get Recovery Girl! And tell her to bring suppressants!" Iida said.
Uraraka nodded before running out the door.
Bakugou sat in front of his mate, wondering what he should do. Deku was sobbing and releasing a concerning amount of 'distress' and 'self-loathing'.
He listened carefully as the Omega mumbled to himself.
Listening to him talk about how useless he is, how he wished he was just a simple beta. And talking about just how much his mate hated him.
Bakugou whined, lowering his head as he realised he was the one causing Deku to cry.
"Well what do we do?" Iida asked, he knew he had to get Bakugou away from he younger boy, incase he did anything stupid. But Iida knew he was no match for the other Alpha.
Todoroki watched the two Mates carefully.
"I don't think he's going to do anything, Katsuki's instincts would have kicked in by now to protect Midoriya. You seen how possessive he was when you suggested for the others to take him to the infirmary." Todoroki said, still not shifting his eyes away.
The classroom door slammed open as Uraraka, All Might, Aizawa and Recovery Girl entered the room.
"You should go join the rest of your classmates. They're all in the library." Aizawa nodded to the three.
They nodded back and left the room without any arguments.
All Might looked to the two teenagers in front of him.
Midoriya was shaking harshly and Bakugou looked as angry as always.
The two male teachers stepped forward.
Katsuki rushed to his feet, standing protectively in front of Midoriya. Shielding his body from the adults, hands sparking yet again as a warning to back off.
"A protective Alpha could be dangerous, and we don't want to hurt him." Aizawa mumbled to the taller hero.
All Might nodded.
"Then what do we do?"
Recovery Girl sighed, stepping forward with the suppressants in hand, the Alpha teen started to shake and growl at her.
"Oh stop that. I'm just trying to help him. He will feel much better once he has these." She said, holding up a packet of suppressants and a bottle of water.
Bakugou stepped forward, snatching the items from her and sitting back by his Omega.
Midoriya said a quiet 'thank you', but wasn't able to look his mate in the eyes.
By the time half an hour rolled by, Midoriya's body had stopped trembling, and he was lying of the ground, too exhausted to even hold his body up right.
Bakugou sat close to his mate, unaware he was running his hands through the other's hair.
All Might cleared his throat.
"He needs to rest for a while, my boy. Why don't you take him to sick bay?"
The young Alpha shook his head violently and snatched his hand away from the other's hair, before looking up to the Hero.
"Pfft, why don't you? Im done here. When he wakes up, tell him not to come near me again!"
"Bakugou-" All Might started.
"No! That idiot fucking pisses me off! And did you see how he controlled me like that?! I don't ever want to feel that useless again!" He growled before stomping out of the room.
When he was out of range, he sighed and frowned.
"What the hell happened back there?" He asked himself, looking down to his hand where the matching mark had appeared on him, earlier when Deku had presented.
He traced the infinite symbol and triangle with his finger.
"Bakugou!! Hey! Is Deku alright!!" Uraraka's voice called out to him.
"Pfft as if I care about that idiot!"
He growled, covering his soul-mark.
"Well, he's your mate. You should know if he's okay or not?" Iida stood next to Uraraka.
"He's not my mate! He's still the same pain in the ass!" Bakugou hissed.
The rest of the class stood around Bakugou, no one saying anything. Not entirely sure what to say.
"Bakugou! There you are my boy! We need you to come to the principle's office please!" All Might yelled, startling the students.
Bakugou rolled his eyes.
"Why?! I didn't do anything to that loser!!" He growled, hands clenched at his side.
"I know. But we need to talk to you."
The explosive teen kicked off from the locker and made his way down the hallway.
"I wonder what's going to happen to them now." Ashido said from the back.
"Well once an Omega presents and they find their soulmate, don't they usually... you know...bond." Kirishima said awkwardly, scratching the back of his head.
"Not always, tho it can cause the Omega to have a breakdown, if they don't." Todoroki mumbled, looking down the hall in which Bakugou and All Might walked down moments ago.
"You kids should get back to class, the classroom has been aired out." Aizawa said, causing majority of the kids to jump as he spoke up suddenly, no one even knowing he was there.
The class nodded and headed back to the classroom.
No one paid much attention for the rest of the day, everyone was worried, and wondering what was going to happen to Midoriya and Bakugou.
And when Bakugou finally entered the room, the scent of anger and stress poring off of him, but no one said anything.
They tried their best to listen to the lesson, to take in the information. But all they could think about was if Midoriya was going to be alright.
