Work Text:

The long-haired woman sits close beside her partner, Ganondorf. The woman’s name is Fetik she has long fiery red hair which was almost always tied into a ponytail, she is tanned and tall, her eyes a deep possessive green. She can seduce men if she bats her eyelids enough. Ganondorf, two or three heads taller than Fetik. His hair also a fiery red which is what the tribe the two were from are known from. His eyes a brown yet almost golden colour, his skin slightly darker than his girlfriends.

The two are sat opposite the royalty of the kingdom and her partner, Link. Zelda, the princess has long blonde hair tied into a plat almost reaching her waist. Her eyes a glistening blue that seemed to be the part of her body most people look at. Link, Zelda’s boyfriend has dirty blonde hair that seems like it could never be brushed. His eyes also blue but a darker more mischievous look. They each order a meal, both Fetik and Link are overwhelmed at the variety of food to order, both Ganondorf and Zelda handle it well considering they do this often for business.

Fetik hoped that this ‘double date’ would calm tensions between her and Ganondorf. He had become more secretive these past few months, Fetik has become very worried maybe he is cheating, maybe he’s committing crimes, maybe even he is involved with witchcraft which men from her tribe were known for engaging in the illegal events. Fetik felt like the meal wasn’t working so once her partner and coincidently Zelda both go off to the toilet she asks Link his opinion on the subject, instead of the usual ‘you’re over reacting’ she normally gets he says “I now understand what you mean, he seems more uptight then usual” he pauses “…He’s eyeing up Zelda like a wolf on prey”, Fetik sits back dissolving the information and jumping to her own conclusions.

A few boring days’ past and Ganondorf decides to confront Fetik about her questions. “Fetik, join me on my endeavour to kidnap the Princess” he speaks calmly his hand held out as to say ‘join me’. Fetik leaves the house muttering to herself and about how she should have confronted him earlier. Fetik understood that she won’t be able to make him change his mind. It was either come with me and be allies, don’t we’re enemies type situation.

Her mind was made up as soon as Ganondorf suggested the idea. No. She was not going to join him. Like Ganondorf once she made a choice she stuck to it no matter what. She knows what he’d do with the Princess’ power. She’s for the survival of the human race not the destruction.

Fetik ends up opening the door to ‘Telma’s Bar’ a few soldiers whistle at her in hope of getting a good night. No way. She isn’t in the mood for that type of night. She’d rather drink her night away “Hiya hunny” Telma speaks, she’s a strict yet kind woman, someone easy to talk to “Boyfriend dump ya?” she asks. A chuckle leaves her lips followed by

“Something like that”, nodding Telma leaves her be with a pint of ale. She can’t shake the feeling Ganondorf is doing something he shouldn’t, especially since he told her his plan. After about an hour Fetik isn’t quite drunk yet but is on her way. The is a loud entrance, Fetik moves her attention to the door, maybe expecting Ganondorf to apologise. Link is stood in the door frame tears running down his face. He isn’t a man to cry, he’d seen his fair share of tragic events in his life, it didn’t seem like it phased him.

“She’s gone!” he exclaims, soldiers stand to address their captain “He took her!” he yells angry “And I couldn’t stop him!” Fetik stands quickly, blood rushes to her head from standing quickly. She runs over to the male and embraces him

“What happened?” she asks her voice quavering. She stares deep into the male’s deep eyes now filled with saddens

“Demise! He called himself Demise.” He shakes “In swear it looked like Ganondorf!” he sobs into Fetik’s shoulder. Her whole-body freezes. Why was she surprised that he did it? She knew Ganondorf would.

“That scum!” she exclaims standing, surprising Link. She suddenly doesn’t feel intoxicated anymore, anger, sadness, and betrayal is all she can feel “t-th-the TRAITOR!” she yells her anger shooting through the roof. She looks at Link feeling a plan coming along.

A week passes and there is no sign of the Princess or ‘Demise’. Both Link and Fetik have paired up and are searching the Kingdom. They have yet to determine why Demise needs Zelda and when they find him the two hope they aren’t too late. They finally find Demise and his prisoner, Zelda. They find him a few hundred miles off her tribe’s settlement in the dessert in the old prison. Link and Fetik both venture through the prison looking for them. Somehow there are many un-dead’s which are disposed of by blowing them up with fire arrows. The two manage to get to a large circular room which was used to execute prisoners when the prison was in use, some of Fetik’s tribe with venture their way through to do rituals as well as execute law breakers within the community. “Ah Fetik. Welcome, I dare say this but you’re a little late” Demise speaks

“I dare say Ganondorf I’m never late” she exclaims clutching her bow close to her, she is ready to shoot him if needs be

“Ganondorf is an old name, I have been awarded the name Demise by my mothers” He speaks mischief in his voice

“Demise, Ganondorf. Whatever you’re called. I don’t care. I’m here to stop you doing something you’ll regret” Fetik stands tall

“The only thing I regret it not having you by my side” he says looking down

“For Din’s sake, I didn’t realise there is so much TALKING IN A FIGHT” Link yells angers, Fetik nods to herself. She’s going to have to harm her long-time partner. She ready’s her bow and fires.

Demise stands nearly twice the size of Link yet he is managing to beat him. Fetik is starting to run out of arrows, each shot hitting Demise perfectly but almost un-phase him apart from the occasional glare. Fetik knew she doesn’t want to harm him any closer then she is and that’s what Demise expects. She looks at her waist, her rapier glistens the magic within the sword almost begging for her to take it in her hand. Her hands shake as she takes her sword in her hand. Her eyes sparkle as he sees the reflection of herself in her weapon.

With her new-found courage, she charges forth and starts slashing the male more cuts appearing on his body. Demise’s face is laced with pain which almost causes Fetik’s heart to break. Soon enough Demise falls to the floor and becomes imprisoned within her rapier “Demise you have met your demise” Fetik chuckles “The irony of your name darling” she shakes her head sheathing her rapier.

“Fetik I apologise about what has happened to you, I couldn’t imagine what’d happen if this had happened to me. Although I hate Demise, Ganondorf was a good man” Zelda apologises placing her hand on Fetik’s shoulder

“Please I don’t need your sympathy” Fetik lowers her head “You need to seal away this weapon and I shall return back to my tribe” she adds passing Zelda her sheathed rapier

“Fetik please” Link pleads, the female shakes her head

“Everyone needs to say goodbye, this is my time to do so. May we meet again, not in this circumstance” Fetik bows her head turning and smiling, tears roll out her eyes. Link’s own eyes become clouded with tears, Fetik is like a sister to him despite their differences. Zelda’s eyes stay dry and speaks up

“Fetik, before you go. I-I want to name you the god-mother of mine and Links child” Zelda nods

“I’m flattered Zelda” she bows “Maybe you’ll see me around castle town. I might have to go back to trouble maker” she winks disappearing with a ‘whoosh’ of dust.

“Ganondorf you traitor
