Work Text:

Day 1: Mina's Birthday: OchaMinaTsuyu

Ochako was currently in the kitchen with Momo, Tsuyu, Tooru and Jirou. She'd texted the four girls a few hours before with her idea, and the group was now mixing the batter for the next batch of cookies as Momo removed the current one from the oven.

Today was Mina's birthday, and Ochako wanted to do something special for her girlfriend. She loved baking, and she knew that Mina - who could not be trusted near an oven - adored sweets. So she had texted Tsuyu her idea. Her other girlfriend had responded that it sounded like a good idea, and she'd suggested inviting the rest of the girls as well. Ochako had been hesitant at first, but then figured it'd be more fun with the whole group involved. Plus that met they'd be able to bake more cookies for Mina and everyone at the celebration.

"Tooru, don't lick the bowl!" Momo swatted at where she thought the invisible girl's hand was. Laughing, Tooru backed away although Ochako noticed she swiped a spoon dripping with batter.

Jirou snatched the spoon out of Tooru's hand and handed it to Momo who mumbled a 'thank you Jirou.' Tooru whined and stomped her foot, but Momo's hawk like gaze kept her from attempting to steal it again at the moment.

Tsuyu tapped Ochako on the shoulder, and Ochako turned around, a smile on her lips.

"What's up, Tsuyu?"

"Can we add sprinkles?" Tsuyu asked, holding up the plastic container of rainbow sprinkles. Ochako's eyes widened, and she nodded.

"That's a great idea!" Ochako kissed her on the cheek, and Tsuyu flushed. The green haired girl sprinkled some into the batter, and Momo mixed it.

The girls worked together, Momo fending off Tooru from the batter but letting her lick the spoon when they were done. As Momo prepared to put them in the oven, the door opened.

"What's going on?" A voice asked, and Ochako froze. Momo nearly dropped the tray, Tooru stopped mid-lick, Jirou stiffened and Tsuyu's face reddened. "What are you all doing in here?" Mina asked, and Ochako noticed something almost like sadness flicker in her eyes despite her cheerful grin.

Momo and Jirou both exchanged a glance. Tsuyu flicked her tongue nervously, and Tooru played with the spoon in her hands.

"We were just..." Ochako trailed off, the excuse dying on her lips. She couldn't think of anything to say.

"We were baking cookies for your birthday." Tsuyu explained. Mina's eyes widened, and her grin seemed to become even brighter.

"Aww, were you trying to surprise me?" Mina chuckled, and Ochako's cheeks heated up, and Mina laughed. She pulled Ochako and Tsuyu into a hug. "Thanks babes."

"At least act surprised." Ochako whined. Mina chuckled.

"You still have some batter left, don't you? Let me help!"

"But-" Ochako tried to protest, and Mina put a finger to her lips.

"Want to know what would make my birthday best? If I helped out."

"As long as she doesn't touch the oven or eat the batter." Tooru piped up. Mina let out an indignant cry, and Ochako chuckled as her girlfriend chased Tooru around the kitchen. Momo only sighed and shook her head, returning to the task at hand.

Later that night, the three girls were curled up together in Mina's room, snuggling and eating the leftover cookies. After finishing up in the kitchen, Momo and Jirou offering to clean up, the other four had gone to pick out a movie for the class to watch for Mina's birthday. Mina had chosen Sharknado, and class had hung out together, cracking jokes and making fun of the movie. Aizawa had even come in at one part to check on them, giving Mina a pat on the head. After it ended, Momo created a karaoke machine for all of them, and they took turns singing. All Might, Midnight, Present Mic and a reluctant looking Aizawa heard the noise and insisted on singing happy birthday to Mina - she noticed that even Aizawa who hated karaoke was mumbling along with the other three's loud, booming voices.

The teachers had bid them farewell, not even bothering to tell them to go to their dorms despite it being past the curfew. The class had stayed up for another half hour or so, singing and eating the leftover cookies the girls had made and cake Satou had baked for Mina, before deciding to head to bed and wishing Mina a happy birthday.

Mina's head replayed the happy memories of the day. She turned to kiss Ochako on the cheek, and then kissed Tsuyu's cheek. Ochako giggled, and Tsuyu's face turned red.

"Did you have a good birthday, Mina?" Ochako asked and ruffled the girl's fluffy pink hair.

"Of course. After all, I got to not only taste but help with my girlfriends' delicious cookies, hang out with my class watching bad shark movies and singing karaoke, and spend the night with the two people I love most."

Ochako rested her head on Mina's chest, and Tsuyu wrapped her arms around Mina's side, cuddling closer to her. Mina smiled, a feeling of happiness washing over her.

This was definitely the best birthday so far.
