There he was, on his way to throw his pride and his honour right out of the window. He just had to open the door in front of him and give the little pack between his hand to Miyuki. He could clearly picture in his mind the smirk on the catcher face in the moment he would have handed him the little pink box . The only though made him wish he could run away as fast as possible and never return. But it was not possible. He had wagered with Kuramochi-senpai and he had lost so, as the man he was, he couldn't take back his word. Also, if he dared to go back to his room without accomplishing his mission, only the gods would know when he would have heard the end of the teasing of Kuramochi-senpai. And between the shortstop's and the catcher's ways of teasing he didn't know which one was worse.
If only he hadn't been so unlucky that day, the week before, during a practice match. Because everything that happened was completely Lady Luck's fault. Of course it was, what other explanation there could be to the fact that he never hit a single curveball the pitcher of the opponent's team pitched, except from bad luck? What else could have made the managers walk near them, right when Kuramochi-senpai was choosing his punishment, while talking about preparing chocolates for the members of the team? If it was not bad luck, why then did Kuramochi-senpai hear them, thus choosing “getting Miyuki some Valentine's chocolate” as punishment? And still, what could have made him having to spend so much time studying with Kanemaru, that the only day he could go buy the chocolates was the day before, when shops were full of hysterical girls who would have killed for a piece of deluxe chocolate, and who looked at him with pity, murmuring something behind his back, if not bad luck?
Eijun sighed and looked at the little pink box between his hand. At least, Kuramochi-senpai didn't specify about “when” he was supposed to give it to Miyuki, except the day, so he didn't have to humiliate himself in front of the whole school. Bu then, the moment arrived. He couldn't hold over anymore.
He took a deep breath and reached out to knock at the door, when an hand touched his shoulder. Eijun jumped higher and screamed louder than he would ever admit: «KYAAAA!!»
He turned to look at the person who took him by surprise. In front of him stood Miyuki, with a grin on his face and a towel on his head.
«Yo, Sawamura.». The catcher said simply, gputting an arm around the pitcher's shoulders.
«HA! Miyuki! You bastard! Let me go!». Eijun tried to escape the hold, but his attempts hadn't much success.
«Now, now, Sawamura...Show some respect to you senpai, will you?»
«Just let me go already!». Attempting again to free himself, Eijun shoved in Miyuki's face the pack with the chocolates. By doing so he actually managed to free himself, but after realizing what he had done, his face lost colour.
«HA! The chocolate...!». He reached out to take it back, but Miyuki moved aside and he fell, his face hitting the floor.
«Oh? Chocolate? For me?». The catcher asked with a smirk on his face.
Eijun blushed and looked at him angrily, tears starting to flow from his eyes. Miyuki opened the box ,and pulled out of it a little heart of chocolate. He observed it for a few seconds, before asking: «Honmei?».
Eijun immediately stood up, flustered: «As if! I just lost a bet with Kuramochi-senpai!».
The older boy grinned again, as he ate the piece of chocolate between his fingers.
«Right. If it was honmei it would have been something more expensive and tastier.». He then declared.
«Like I had enough money!» The pitcher realized immediately what he said. And he didn't like how that sounded.
«Eh. So you would have-»
Eijun's face become even redder than before, as he shouted: «I DIDN'T MEAN THAT!».
He then looked at Miyuki's face. The way the bastard was smirking, he seemed to enjoy that situation!
«Come on, calm down. I was just kidding. Here, have a bit of chocolate...». Quickly enough to not let the other realize what was happening, the catcher put another heart of chocolate into his mouth and then proceeded to kiss the younger boy, pushing him against the door.
After a few seconds of shock, Eijun responded to the kiss and his mind went blank. Like Miyuki's normal kisses – thought he'll never admit that out loud – weren't enough to make him lose his mind. The weird feeling he was getting from the combination of Miyuki's tongue, which kept exploring his whole mouth, and the chocolate slowly melting between his and the catcher's tongues, was one of the best things he ever felt. His legs became weak and unable to sustain him, so he put his hands on Miyuki's shoulders, trying to keep standing. But it wasn't enough and the catcher probably sensed it, as he put his arms around his waist and held him on, even when they broke off the kiss, several seconds later.
«Thank you for the meal.» Miyuki said, licking his own lips, with a satisfied look on his face.
A weak: «Pervert», was the only thing the pitcher had been able to say, while trying to take a breath.
Miyuki grinned, and pushed himself against him: «Oh? I thought you liked it.».
And that was when Eijun noticed that his trousers had become too tight, and that there was something hard pushing against his crotch.
«That reminds me that I haven't thanked you properly yet.» the catcher added, giving the pitcher a light kiss on the lips.
«Pervert.» Repeated the younger boy, putting his arms around the other's neck, and letting the older boy drag him into his room.
Thankfully, the next day they didn't have training nor school to attend to.
