   Summary

   Dr. Leonard McCoy, a weary World War I veteran, is on his way to Riverside, Iowa to start a new medical practice. Almost frozen to death, and lost in the bitter Iowa cold, he and his horse are rescued by Jim Kirk and his dog, Cupcake. Jim, unaccountably attracted to the handsome doctor, offers him a temporary place to live at the Kirk farmhouse. Neither man is prepared for the consequences of Jim’s decision.
