Emi absolutely loves it when she gets asked to come to a school to talk to the kids. Nowadays, it seems like every kid wants to be a hero when they grow up, and she’s becoming a popular speaker, especially with younger crowds.
One day, she gets to go visit a kindergarten class, and when she arrives, all decked out in her costume, some kids standing in the halls point to her in excitement. Whether they recognize her or not doesn’t matter, because they can tell that she’s a hero, and they’re still young enough that that’s all that matters to them. She finds her way to the classroom she’s supposed to be talking with, and when she knocks, a teacher comes out to speak with her.
A young, beautiful teacher with unusual hair who introduces herself as Miss Todoroki. Emi has to remind herself to be professional and not flirt with this gorgeous teacher in front of her students.

“I met the cutest kindergarten teacher today,” she announces, once she’s home for the night.
Yuu looks up at her from the magazine she’s skimming and says, “Are you already trying to trade me in?”
“I can look, can’t I? Besides, who said anything about trading?”
“Oh, so you’re into that sort of thing?” her girlfriend asks. “Is this just, like, a threesome thing, or an open relationship thing, or what?”
“Well, first of all, it’s all hypothetical, but second, it’s what you’re comfortable with,” replies Emi. “Ideally, if Cute Kindergarten Teacher, or any other cute girls found their way into our life, I’d like it if both of us got along with them. But either of those work too, I guess!”
“I feel like this is something we should have talked about from the beginning.”
“Hey, if it’s a problem, I’ll be completely exclusive,” she says. “You’re my top priority, so…”
“I never said it was a problem,” Yuu says, and she looks up with a grin. “I just never knew it was an option.”

It’s not uncommon for Yuu to try to get her picture taken with bystanders after she’s resolved an incident; it makes her look more approachable and gives her good publicity. The fact that the bystander she chooses on this particular occasion is a very beautiful woman is a coincidence, she assures herself.
Except, once the photo is taken, she turns to her and says, “I’m glad to see you’re safe,” with a winning smile.
“I was never in that much danger,” she replies. “O-oh! Not to say that your help wasn’t needed, you really did do an amazing job…”
“This is pretty unprofessional, but what’s your name?”
“Todoroki.’
“Is it alright if I get your number? You can say no if you want, but there’s somebody I think would like to meet you, and honestly, I’m pretty glad to meet you myself.” In the back of her mind, she has no idea if she’s doing this right or not. After all, she’s not used to hitting on someone with the intent of getting them to go out with both her and her girlfriend.
But Todoroki smiles and says, “Sure, let me write it down for you.”

Fuyumi knows just as well as most of the public does that Mt. Lady and Miss Joke are dating. The former is quite the media attention grabber, after all, and it must be a crazy coincidence to meet both of them within such a short time of one another. She definitely thought herself silly when Miss Joke came to talk to her class and kept giving her these looks that she thought might mean something, and told herself that there was no way she was being flirted with.
It’s been a long time since she’s dated anyone, so at the time, she just assumed she was getting caught up in wishful thinking, but now that she’s met that woman’s girlfriend and been asked for her number, she doesn’t know what to think. She doesn’t know how much either of them know about the other’s interactions with her, and she doesn’t know how either of them really feel about the idea of dating someone else. For all she knows, Mt. Lady is flirting behind her girlfriend’s back...but then, she said she wanted Fuyumi to meet someone.
There’s no point in overthinking it, she knows, and the only thing she can do is actually wait for Mt. Lady to call her. For so long, she’s wanted something in her life, and she’s never quite been able to express what that something is. The world of heroes has always been so close to her, with her father and her youngest brother, but then, it’s also felt so far away. After her Quirk manifested, and she was only able to produce hot water, her father gave up on her, and he’s always been distant with her and her other brothers.
The world of heroes was never one that she wanted to touch directly, but being so close to it means that a part of her will always yearn for the excitement and the glamor, even if not for herself. It’s no surprise to her that she’s crushing on the both of them, and that she wants to get to know them better and see where this goes. It’s no surprise to her that she’s hoping to find something more with them.

Emi is more than a little enthusiastic when she finds out Yuu has met someone she’s interested in, even if she knows that it’s a little soon to really hope for anything. Impulsively giving a bystander her number isn’t exactly how she would go about doing it, but she does regret not giving Todoroki her number when she met her, so she can’t really say she blames her. And even if this doesn’t go well, the fact that she wants to try means that they’re on the same page, and if they can find someone else, that would be great. If not, she’s still very happy with what she has.
“So, tell me what this girl’s like,” she says, on the day they’ve planned to go out with her. Over time, Yuu has talked with her, explaining the situation and what they’re looking for, and the mystery girl seems fine with a partially blind date with a couple. The two of them are waiting for her to show up now, and Emi is tired of Yuu keeping all the details from her.
“You’ll know her when you see her. She’s cute as hell, and has kind of white hair.”
“Kind of?”
“It’s kind of red too.”
Immediately, Todoroki comes to mind, but there’s no way it could be the same woman. That would just be too much of a coincidence, wouldn’t it? Even so, she can’t help but get her hopes up, and when she sees a familiar face approaching their table, she leans over and says, “You didn’t tell me she was the cute teacher!”
“Um, probably because I didn’t know?”
“Well, isn’t that totally wild? That we both met her?”
Before Yuu can answer, Todoroki has reached them and says, “It’s nice to see both of you again.”
At that, Emi can’t help but laugh. Of course, Todoroki would know she was seeing the both of them again, whereas she and Yuu had no idea they were both mooning over the same woman. And there’s this adorably innocent smile on her face, and she looks so happy to be there, and Emi has no idea where any of this is going, but she has a very good feeling about all of it.
