Work Text:
Today was the day! Today was your date with Midoriya!
You had picked out an outfit after long deliberation. You carefully placed your chocolates in your bag, as you looked at the mirror one more time to check your appearance. Smiling at yourself, you got ready to head out to your destinated meeting spot.
Midoriya was in the middle of a nervous breakdown. Not because he was nervous or anything, but since his classmates had caught on the fact he had gotten a date on Valentines's day. They decided to help him. He tried to tell them that he didn't need any help. But he was promptly ignored. The girls were going over his clothing choices, as he sat down in the lounge, nervous.
He was muttering to himself, about how he would treat you right, and shower you with gifts and love, and anything else you could want. He wanted the date to go well since you were always there for him. He wanted to thank you for all this time and thank you for reciprocating his feelings. He had thought that they would have been unrequited for so long.
Bakugou was pissed, not because the shitty nerd had a date. Because the girls were going to dress him up like a clown since all of Midoriya's clothing was shitty. And the shitty nerd himself was mumbling to himself again about you. He was so annoyed that he blasted Deku in the back of the head.
"AHH! Kacchan! You know you're not supposed to use your powers in the dorm!" Midoriya said, picking himself up from the floor.
"Yea, well you were annoying me. You shitty nerd! Sitting there muttering to yourself!" Bakugou yelled.
"Well, you didn't have to blast me!"
"Why aren't you going upstairs to stop the shitty girl extras! They're gonna dress you like a clown!" Bakugou yelled once more.
"They're being nice! Trying to help me!" Midoriya yelled back.
"Oh! What! You want help! Fine!" Bakugou yelled, running upstairs.
Midoriya was left behind, confused. Bakuhou, then proceed to go the Deku's room. Scan the outfits the girls picked. Ignoring them. Before grabbing a plain white tee, with a black hoodie and dark blue jeans. The girls gasped and complimented him on his outfit coordination skills, before running off to get Midoirya to change.
Midoriya walked out of his room, feeling confident in himself. The outfit that the girls picked, looked nice.
Bakugou was standing in front of Midoriya's room, waiting for him.
"You took too long, Nerd! You shouldn't be late to a date!" Bakugou said. He shoved Midoriya towards to stairs.
"You better make sure she has a great time or else I'm coming for ya!" Bakugou threatened.
"Why are you helping me?" Midoyira finally asked.
"Helping you?! I'm not helping you! I'm getting that damn nosy bitch off my back! She kept asking about you and how you were doing since she didn't want to bother you!" he yelled.
"You say that but we know that she's your best friend Bakugou." teased Mina, appearing from behind Bakugou. She poked him on his cheek.
"Thanks, Kacchan!" Midoriya yelled, before finally leaving for his date with you.
You were at a nearby park, that was halfway from the dorms and your house. You hummed to yourself, as you sat down at a bench, waiting for Midoriya to arrive. Scrolling through your phone, you laugh, as you received pictures from Mina, about how they burst into Midoriya rooms and kicked him out to prepare an outfit for his date. She also took serval pictures of the walls, to show you how obsessed with All might he was. You only laughed, because you already knew how obsessed he was. Bakugou had sent you a text, informing you that he was on his way and if you didn't like the date to tell him and he would wreck Deku for you.
"Sorry, I'm a little late," Midoriya said, stopping in front of you. "I was a little held back by everyone.." He sheepishly explained.
"It's fine because you're here now!" You said, hugging the boy. You could feel him freeze, but he quickly got over his nerves and hugged you back.
"Happy Valentine's day, Midoriya!" you let him go, in favor of pulling out your hand-made chocolate. The chocolates were in a white rectangle box with a simple, but elegant pink bow on it.
"Thank you so much." This time he hugged first. He snuggled you closer to him, as you giggled, and hugged back.
"So what do you want to do for our date?" He asked, letting you go. He carefully put the chocolate away in his hoodie. He reached for your hand, which you gladly gave him.
"Can we go eat a parfait together?" You asked.
"Anything for you."
