“Oi, class is staring so sit down, now” Aizawa-sensei grumbles from his sleeping bag on the floor.
As class 1-A settles down into their seating arrangements, the pattering of footsteps can be heard running down the hallway.
“Shit shit shit” echoes in the hall. Bakugou glances at your empty desk, figuring you were the moron sprinting down the hallway.
“I’m sorry I’m late sensei! I kind of missed the bus…” You manage out, through your gasps. Aizawa grunts.
As you’re taking your seat, you accidentally get your foot tangled in Toru’s backpack, sending you flying foreword. You clench your eyes shut as the ground comes barreling toward you. Only to be halted mid air as a muscular arm wraps around your waist, roughly pushing you back up to your feet. You look at the person responsible, your crush Bakugou Katsuki. Katsuki grunts, looking away from your face as he shoves you toward your assigned desk.
“Y/n are you okay? At this rate I’m beginning to think you suffer from Murphy’s Law” Mina calls from across the class room.
The class chuckles as you take your seat, your face red as a tomato.
As Aizawa begins his lecture, you can barely pay any attention, you’re far too embarrassed from almost falling flat on your face in front of everyone… again.
The last time something like this happened, you had been walking into the stadium at the start of the UA sports festival. Katsuki has caught you that time as well, grumbling about how much of a moron you were as he walked ahead of you.
Later that day, you were sitting with Bakugou’s group of friends in the cafeteria. Kaminari and Kirishima had invited you to sit with them, with coy smiles on their faces. A grumbling Bakugou was behind them, looking at the floor like it was most interesting thing in the room.
“Oi y/n! Are you ok from that little fall this morning?” Mina teased, chomping down on her sandwich.
You flushed, opening your mouth to tell her you were fine.
“Of course she’s fine Mina! She had her Prince Charming save her again from her bad luck!” Kirishima grins wolfishly, nudging Bakugou with his elbow.
The ash blonde grumbles something to Kirishima, elbowing him back in the ribs.
Kirishima wheezes, clutching his ribs in pain as the tables laughs at him and Bakugou’s antics. You sigh and pick up your tray, leaving it at the trash and making your way outside to get some fresh air and alone time.
As you lean against the brick wall, you press your face into your hands, growning in frustration. The last thing you wanted your classmates to think of you was that you were a huge bad luck magnet and a total klutz.
Your inner grievances are interrupted by Bakugou’s rough voice. “Oi moron, why did you just leave like that?”
You jump, spinning around to face him. As you’re spinning around, your ankle catches on your other foot, sending you flying forward toward the ground. Bakugou’s rough calloused hands grab your waist, a pleasant sensation that’s become very familiar to you this school year.
“A-ah I’m sorry Bakugou” you mumble, your hands still clenching his undone blazer.
You’re surprised when you meet his gaze to see a light flush across his cheeks.
Bakugou pushes you off of him, fixing his jacket and glaring at the ground.
“Look y/n, stop being such a baby about being a shitty klutz. No ones judging you or anything so just come back and sit with me and my shit head friends, okay?”
You can’t help the goofy grin that spreads across your face. You’re surprised that out of all your classmates, Bakugou was able to read your bad mood and what had caused it.
“Thanks Bakugou, I appreciate it” You gingerly wrap your arms around his waist squeezing him in a hug. As you head back into the cafeteria, you miss the way his face turns red and a series of mini explosions go off in his palms.
