Jimin hurried along the path to the cluster of trees that stood at the edge of the park. Leaves crumbled under his feet and the cold air nipped his skin, but he paid no mind to them. He was late to his date and it was all because of the bouquet of flowers he currently held.
He had recently found out that Namjoon loved soft, romantic gestures, so when he caught sight of a flower shop on his way to the aforementioned date, his thought processes had come to a screeching halt and he walked into the shop. He had walked out twenty flustered minutes later with a bouquet of soft pink and white azaleas in hand.
He caught sight of Namjoon before he reached him, leaning against the trees with his eyes closed and a gentle smile on his face. There were a few dry leaves stuck in his brown hair which, when coupled with the soft, oversized pastel yellow sweater and light blue jeans, made him look like a woodland fairy.
Jimin blinked, stopped his in tracks, and ducked behind the bushes to his right. He sat down and pulled the bouquet apart gently before weaving the stems together as nicely as he could.
Once done, he jumped to his feet and rushed over to Namjoon as quietly as possible and placed the crown on his head. Namjoon’s eyes fluttered open and his smile widened as he caught sight of Jimin. He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Jimin’s lips, and Jimin’s hands instinctively went up to his face, thumbs brushing over Namjoon’s dimples.
When he leaned back, all he could think of was how cute and precious his boyfriend looked, despite how tall and generally large he was. Soft and adorable.
Soft, adorable and his .
