You were getting home from a long day at university, and were absolutely exhausted. Slumping onto your bed, you let out a deep breath and sunk into the mattress. You leaned your head back and let your eyes flutter closed.
“ Gongjunim ( Princess)?” Are you home?” a voice called from the hallway.
You picked your head up so fast, you could've sworn you’d given yourself whiplash. A familiar boy with light blue hair stood in your doorway with a soft smile on his face and arms crossed over his chest.
“Y-Yoongi? What are you doing here?” you managed to stutter out. Yes he was your boyfriend, and yes you were glad to see him, but what in the world was he doing in your house and basically in the doorway of your room? Your parents would kill you if they found him here.
“Your parents let me in.”
Oh… okay, so maybe they wouldn’t kill you.
“I wanted to surprise you by taking you out after work,” he continued, “but by looking at your current state-of-being, it looks more like you just want to sleep for a century.” He smirked at your current position, fully laid back on the bed with your legs hanging off the side, your neck inclined to keep your head up to look at him. You grunted in agreement, letting your head fall back onto your duvet, and his nose scrunched up in a smile. He let your door fall shut and made his way over to the bed, falling into a similar position next to you. He turned his head to you and lifted a hand to comb through your hair.
You smiled and blushed at the gesture, “Sorry. You came all this way for nothing.”
“Are you kidding?” he laughed. “I’d much rather take cuddling with my girlfriend over going out any day.”
You laughed, knowing that to be very true, and curled up on your side to face him. He did the same and encased you in his arms, nuzzling his nose on top of your head. You laughed and sighed into his chest, closing your eyes, “This is nice.”
“You’re just saying that because you’re encased in a Yoongi-burrito.”
You giggled at the comparison and cuddled into him even closer. “Yeah,” you admitted, “yeah it is.”
He rubbed your upper arm with his thumb and held you by the small of your back. “How was school today, gongjunim?”
You groaned and tilted your head back to look at him.
“That bad huh?” he asked, looking down at your face with an amused expression. You nodded and stuffed your face back into his shirt.
“How about you? Was your day productive?” you asked, your voice muffled by the fabric of his black tee and flannel.
He nodded and started rubbing your upper back, “Hoseok and I made a lot of progress on that track we’ve been working on for his mixtape. The kids were being a nuisance as always, but what can you do?”
You laughed at how he referred to the other members. “You know Yoongi, you really shouldn’t call boys who are 21 years and older ‘kids.’Especially when one of those said ‘kids’ is older than you.”
He humphed and held you closer to him. “Kim Seokjin in the biggest kid of them all. I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
You laughed and brushed his messy fringe out of his eyes. He pouted more and kissed your nose. Just then, his phone buzzed and he reached back into his pocket to get it.
“Aw, crap,” he muttered.
“What’s the matter?” you asked, drawing your eyebrows together.
“Jin-hyung made dinner, and he’s wondering where I am…”
You snorted. “You left without telling them? Can’t you get in trouble for that kinda stuff?”
“Uh…” he hesitated, making you laugh again. You wriggled out of his arms and stood up walking out of your room.
“Come on, looks like our roles are switched today.”
He sat up and raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean by that?”
“It’s looks like I’m taking you to dinner instead,” you laughed, heading down the hallway. He hopped off your bed and hurried to catch-up to you, grabbing onto your hand as you both walked out to his car in the driveway.
