namjoon liked to sleep in on sundays. it was a day where he didn't have to worry about college or work and could just sleep the whole day if he wanted to. that was until he started dating jin. jin liked to wake up around 7 am so he could go for a morning walk, sometimes he would drag namjoon with him, other times he would be the best boyfriend namjoon has ever dated and let him sleep. today was one of those days.
namjoon woke up and with his eyes still closed, he patted around the bed for his phone to check the time. the brightness almost blinded him before he could see that it was 9 am. after padding the bed some more, he got a confirmation that his boyfriend is in fact not next to him. "jin?" he called out but didn't get any response. running to the bathroom he quickly brushed his teeth before padding out to his living room, where he was hit with a nice aroma.
he quietly walked to his kitchen where he was greeting by a sight he would never got tired off. his boyfriend cooking. namjoon kept telling him that he didn't have to cook because he was a guest, but jin has just kissed his cheek and answered "cooking for you makes me happy, watching you eat what I make with that beautiful smile of yours makes it all worth it, so please, just show me where you keep your stuff." ever since then jin has cooked them both breakfast whenever he stayed the night, which was often but namjoon didn't complain.
jin was busy in the kitchen flipping pancakes and didn't notice namjoon until "is that my shirt?" jin turned around with a smile on his face before looking down "I guess it is," and turned back around to look at the pancakes missing the way namjoon smiled at how casually he answered that.
as his boyfriend flipped a pancake, namjoon snuck up behind him and carefully wrapped his arms around his boyfriends waist. jin leaned in to namjoons touch and whispered a "good morning joonie." namjoon responded by kissing his neck "good morning jin, smells good." jin giggled "me or the pancakes?" namjoon smelled jins neck making his boyfriend giggle again "you, for sure but the pancakes is a close second," "good to know," jin answered and continued to make the pancakes with namjoon still hugging him.
they stood there in silence, with only the sound of jin flipping pancakes until jin broke it by telling namjoon to set the table, in which he happily did. a few moments later jin brought over the pancakes and namjoon got the syrup ready. jin was about to walk away to sit down, when namjoon gently grabbed his hand and pulled him in for a kiss making the latter blush and gently hit his shoulder.
