A gentle breeze passed by brushing Jotaros short curly black hair back as he watched the waves of the ocean roll towards him. He was sitting upon a large rock on the shore of the beach basking in the slowly setting sun and listening to the seagulls call softly above. A little bit further away stood Kakyoin ankle deep in the water staring out over the horizon. They both agreed on coming to the beach today just to relax together. So here Jotaro was dressed in his purple tank top and black pants watching his friend smiling at the sky. The day was as peaceful as it could get, there was just one thing though. Jotaro had a problem, well he had this problem for awhile now but right now it was a really big problem. Whats worse is that really big problem is Kakyoin. The way the redhead just stood so relaxed in the water, the way the wind blew his hair back and ruffled his white dress shirt, and the way amidst it all he had a giant smile plastered on his face that shined brightly in the orange hued sunlight. All that had Jotaros heart melting. He quietly cursed under his breath breaking his gaze away from Kakyoin before his face grew any redder. Boy did he have a giant problem, that problem that made him long deeply just for the simple idea of holding his hand. It was a problem he couldn't get out of his head and that pissed him off. How could he fall for his friend Kakyoin? Actually how couldn't he fall for him. Everything about this man was captivating, Jotaro just sighed heavily and buried his face into his hands.
“Jotaro!” Kakyoin called turning around to get his attention but Jotaro was too lost in his thoughts to fully register Kakyoin yelling for him. It was only till he felt a sudden tap on his shoulder that he then snapped out of his thoughts. He glanced up to find Kakyoin leaning down in front of him his green eyes shining against the sunset. “Oh were you sleeping?” Kakyoin asked suddenly thinking he might of awoken him. Jotaro blinked frozen for a moment. “No I was just lost in thought, sorry.” He finally replied shaking his head away. Kakyoin raised a brow like something was ajar with Jotaro's words. “Is something bothering you?” Kakyoin questioned curiously. Jotaro glanced back at the other and huffed angrily rather than an reply hoping that Kakyoin wouldn't press on the issue. The redhead remained planted with a small worried frown. “Jotaro…” Kakyoin spoke softer this time crouching down to be more at eye level. There was a long pause before Jotaro just sighed returning his face to his hands. “I have a problem.” Jotaro vaguely explained before falling silent.
“What kind?”
“...”
“Jotaro.” His name rolled off Kakyoin's lips so gently it almost sent a shiver down Jotaro's spine. Jotaro sighed once more running his hands through his hair before looking up at Kakyoin's eyes that were filled with concern for his friend. There was another brief pause as another breeze swept by caressing Kakyoin's red hair to the side revealing his face fully. His lips were parted slightly like he was going to speak but nothing left his mouth. Jotaro could only stare at him breathlessly, just the way the sun kissed his sharp but slender face made Jotaros heart leap into his throat. Though his usual stoic face didn't reveal any of that thus leaving Kakyoin in the dark of what he was feeling.
With another silence between them Jotaro took a shallow breath
“I think I'm in love with you.”
The words finally left Jotaros lips as the waves lapped against the shore. The world fell quiet again Kakyoin blinked clearly taken aback by those words but not in a bad way. The red haired males cheeks went from a dusty pink to a deeper red in a matter of seconds, but his smile was also grew. Jotaro frowned puzzled to a degree. “You're happy?” He asked shocked and more so as an observation. There was a breath of silence. “Of course...” Kakyoin answered then paused.
“Because I think I'm in love with you too.”
