it's valentines day, but for namjoon it's wednesday which means he has an essay due on friday. he was laying on his bed with his book in front of him.
namjoon didn't really celebrate valentine's day and neither did his boyfriend, but he wanted to spend time together so when jin texted him earlier about coming over namjoon had said "of course, but I really have to work on my essay" in which he got the reply "I don't mind, I just want to be near you," which made namjoons heart skip a beat.
so now jin was in the kitchen making dinner because "I know you have to work but that doesn't mean you're going to skip dinner," namjoon contemplated on going out and see if he needed any help, but he's been told many times by his boyfriend (and friends) "please, for the love of planet earth, don't cook."
not wanting to bother jin he went back to reading his book. a while later namjoon heard jin call his name as the door to his bedroom opened wider. "namjoon-ah, are you done with your book?" the older asked when their eyes met. namjoon flipped the pages of his book before answering "just a few more chapters-" jin smiled and walked over and laid in bed next to his boyfriend.
he gently caressed his hair and kissed his boyfriends cheek when the younger closed his eyes. "dinner is ready," jin said as he slung his arm over his boyfriends shoulder, he then kissed his cheek and slowly kissed his neck and worked his way down his shoulder. "hyung, I need to finish my book," namjoon said but let jin continue to kiss him, "I'm not doing anything joonie, continue to read your book," namjoon could practically hear the smile in his voice.
he tried to read a few more pages but with jin kissing his neck he couldn't get pass the first sentence of the new chapter. closing his book he turned around to see jin smiling at him "hello~" he said and laughed "am I distracting you, joonie?" namjoon answered by flipping jin over so he was on his back, hovering over him, namjoon leaned in to kiss his lips "yeah, but I don't mind the distraction." jin smiled wrapped his arms around namjoons neck so they could be even closer.
"happy valentine's day joonie,"
"happy valentine's day jin."
