Work Text:

“JoJo, you need to stay still.”

Jotaro shifted, a hint of a sigh escaping his lips. He smiled, propping his head up on his fist. Kakyoin’s eyes peered over the side of his drawing board, looking his boyfriend up and down before returning. Jotaro loved seeing him like this; Kakyoin looked angelic when he was focused. The sun was setting, bathing the two in a warmth not unfamiliar to them. A shadow cast over Jotaro’s brow, prompting Kakyoin to groan before his lips turned up in a smile. He stood, holding his hands out and beckoning his lover to his arms. “Come over here, would you?” Kakyoin said before turning to the armchair that held Jotaro. “Bring the chair too, please, JoJo.”

The brunette shook his head, letting out a low chuckle before moving the chair just on the other side of Kakyoin’s station. He brought the smaller man into his arms, pressing soft kisses against the top of his head. Jotaro twirled Kakyoin’s curl between his fingers, his other hand pressing against Kakyoin’s lower back, urging him to get closer. “You’re… beautiful like this, you know,” Jotaro breathed, “you’re so beautiful.” Jotaro cupped his lover’s cheek, stroking his high cheekbones with his calloused fingertips before bringing their lips together, eliciting a pleased hum from Kakyoin.

“...Thank you, Jotaro,” Kakyoin murmured before reaching up and removing Jotaro’s hat, despite his insistence to leave it, “although… this needs to go.” At the look he received in response, Kakyoin simply smiled and said that it was getting in the way of Jotaro’s striking features that he so desperately wanted to capture. Jotaro lowered his eyes, trying to fight off the heat that rose to his cheeks as he started to sink into the armchair, but he was stopped by a pair of hands fingering the lower hem of his shirt. Jotaro raised an eyebrow before Kakyoin lifted it slowly, not met with an ounce of resistance from the brunette. His fingers rested on Jotaro’s pecs, tracing the curves of each muscle on his defined chest before he pulled away and sat down behind his drawing board. “... It makes for a more interesting piece. Now…” He gestured to the armchair.

Jotaro puffed out a laugh, raising his hands in defeat then relaxed into place. He leaned to his left, bringing his hand up to his chin, turning his head, and letting his legs fall open comfortably, his right arm resting on his lap. He glanced at the redhead through intentionally drooping eyelids (Jotaro knew that Nori admired how he looked when he was tired), pursing his lips slightly before asking “is this alright?”

“That’s perfect.”

“Mm, good.”

Time passed, the silence only broken by the light scratching of sharpened conte against the newsprint that Kakyoin was sketching on before Jotaro murmured “I love you”, a smirk appearing on his face. The scratching paused, lavender eyes finding their way around the board and locking with Jotaro’s blue. A warm smile later, Kakyoin was back to drawing. Jotaro huffed playfully, jutting out his lower jaw and drumming his fingers against his abs. “Nori?”

“Hm?”

“I’m… glad we’re here. Together.”

Jotaro was met with a smile, and Kakyoin drummed his fingers against his chin. He curled his finger inwards, and Jotaro raised an eyebrow. He padded over, and Kakyoin turned his easel towards him. “What do you think?”

Jotaro felt his cheeks heat up as hands ran themselves along his abs. The drawing of himself was...sensual, to say the least, and he sighed, letting Kakyoin feel the rise and fall of his muscles with each breath. He pulled him into his arms, cupping the back of his head with his hand and burying it in his neck. He kissed the side of Kakyoin’s hair, burying his nose in the curls. Kakyoin giggled, slipping his thumbs through the belt loops above Jotaro’s hips and tickling the exposed skin. “Is that how you see me?” he hummed, looking to the drawing.

“Do you mean perfect? Yes, it is. And by the way,” Kakyoin smiled, “I’m glad we’re here, too.”
