Chapter Text
The sun was setting below the horizon in a striking gradient from crimson to a murky blue by the time Jimin had finally found a place to stay. The cave he had found was of a decent size and the mouth was large enough to accommodate his physique. It was also, by the smell of it, not occupied by another large creature, except for some small bats who had made their home deeper in.

I don’t think they’ll bother me too much, he thought, exhausted, as he slowly made his way into the dark hollow to set down his small bag of belongings and immense body. His eyelids were already drooping, and he let out a deep heated exhale, his wings fluttering behind him. After he made sure that his tail was securely wrapped around himself, he finally let his eyes shut.
He could worry about food later. For now, he needed to rest.
Some hours later, dawn leisurely made its way up above the terrain to announce the start of the fourteenth day of the tenth month.
Amid this large forest was a slumbering silver dragon, unsuspecting of his future exploits.
