Work Text:
Laughing at her husband, Harley peeked over the book she'd had propped up on her growing belly. "Batsy, what in the world are you doing?"
Bruce looked up from where his lips were pressed against Harley's stomach with an innocuous look on his face. "There's a baby in there."
"Two," she corrected, placing the book next to her on the bed and carding her fingers through his locks of messy hair. "I still cannot believe we're pregnant."
"These babies will be the most protected children in the entire city," Bruce promised as he lifted himself up onto his elbows to place a gentle kiss on top of Harley's head. Her hair was recently washed, still damp fro the shower she'd taken not too long ago.
"You've always been such a good parent to Dick and Jason, I have no doubt you'd love these twins." Harley sighed as Bruce rested his chin on top of her head.
“I love you, Harley. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you or the kids.” Bruce's voice faded into a whisper as he started to doze off, chin still pressed to the top of her head.
