It was nice outside, little hot, but not anything a good tank top and sunglasses could fix. Well, actually, naw it was scorching. The sun shined high in the sky, much like Moon's group of friends’ hopes. There were four of them all together, Moon herself, Lillie, Hau, and Gladion. It was their first time to Celestial Parks, the infamous amusement park in Sinnoh where the iconic pokemon Mesprit had it's game as a character of delight and emotion.
Moon fanned herself as she waited in a three hour long line, Lillie was busy organizing a plan for which ride they were going to go to next, organizing the wait times for each one. And Gladion leaned against a blue pole, his hood was up and he was staring aimlessly at the other rides close by.
Moon liked this trip, it was time with her friends without dealing with any work, even Gladion was persuaded by Lillie. ARCEUS knows how but he had to rearrange his whole schedule around this trip, and it was going along fine, other than the heat. Moon cursed at it and swore to the sun that if it ruined her trip she would order her ninetails to freeze it all. Gladion came all the way here, the weather would just need to change. Besides if she didn't she was about to have a heat stroke.
She looked at Lillie, her sun hat was providing her fragile frame and crisp white dress shade, although sometimes she would wave her hand back and forth to provide some cool air. But Moon frowned, Lillie had not a single drop of sweat on her, and she was always as clean as ever. Moon could never understand just how she did it, but then Gladion was the same in his own Gladiony way. Moon thought it could just be their gene pool.
And that certain male, was also not sweating and he was in black. Moon gave him harder frown as his gazed meandered towards her.
“How can you not be sweating, I mean sure Lillie, but she is wearing white! With a sun hat!” Moon was practically yelling and Lillie put a pokemon in the headlights look on. She decided not to get into this and go and find Hau at the food stands.
He smirked, watching Lillie walk away. He turned his attention to Moon and she felt like she was swimming in an emerald pool, “You wanna know my secret?” Moon nodded her head vigorously and watched him take off his jacket. He gave her a small smile, “Hold still” He pulled the jacket over her head and everything became super cold.
“But...what??” She furrowed her brows looking at it then looked at him, then back again but because it was cool she snuggled in it and the cool fabric brought her to the right temperature. He chuckled, it was a rare chuckle of course and he grinned, “I put it in the freezer.” His green eyes searched her response. She stood there. Just stood there. And speechless. How. Could. That. Even. Work?
