Chapter Text

“I’ll be outside, then, P’.”

“Ah, drop it. We’re currently abroad; Khun Arthit will do just fine for me.” Arthit’s smile appeared. His smile was more like his natural response to the ‘let-me-pick-this-phone-up-at-the-corridor-then’ grin, as expressed by the other person. Arthit's smile lasted briefly. 20 seconds had passed since the first incoming call ringtone echoed in the air.

Arthit waved his hand. Not to waste any time, he returned his line of sight to the lines written in the file that he was currently reading. Fifteen minutes from now, the meeting between Ocean Electric and their future investors scheduled to take place. It took place on the hotel’s lounge and that was the reason why Arthit was doing the last-minute-rechecking the document. He was doing it just-in-case. It was also an attempt to prevent the similar event that had happened and caused by P'Nicky from happening again. There’s nothing wrong with taking precaution, that’s what Arthit’s mind been telling himself.

“P’Arthit, it’s time.” The second voice called and it made Arthit diverted his attention from the document.

“Tsk,” he threw a flattened look. Arthit had made his interpreter assigned to attend and to go with them in this meeting not to address him that way. And yet, Khun Patcharapon from the Legal Department of Ocean Electric called him casually just like that.

“Yeah, I know. Sorry—not sorry.”

Arthit could actually felt the way he lazily rolled his eyes . “Come on, let’s finish this and I’ll report to Khun Tod about the—“

“Alright, alright,” cut Arthit.

“Let’s avoid annoying them with things from work. Ah. It’s better for you to explain this part for me—this clause, right here. Does it mean that any legal requirements of both parties will be under the jurisprudence of the law in this MOU take place or..." Arthit’s trailing voice only followed by an extensive explanation from Khun Patcharapon. Along with the echo of their footsteps as they were leaving the the suite where he had stayed for the night. They were heading to the lounge where the meeting was held. Their interpreter was knocking at the door, calling out their name from the corridor and reminded them about the meeting for the last time.

Ten years has passed since the first time Tod met P’Earth. Ten years has passed since Kong took an internship in Ocean Electric. Ten years has passed since the company assigned him a post in Purchasing Department. Ten years has passed since that day.
