Fridays, the best day of the school week. Once classes are over you have two solid days of relaxing. Two straight days of whatever you want. Of course for class 1-A, things tend to be different. Doing things differently was part of what made them, as students, to 'go beyond'. At least that's what their teachers always told them. This weekend most of the class would luck out and have their normal weekends, two of them however would have their weekends 'go beyond'. Worst of all was that their weekend would start Friday morning.
Aizawa entered the classroom to start the day. "Good morning class, everyone take your seats." Every student was sitting quietly in their seats before he finished speaking. "We're starting today with something different."
"Ooh! Do we have another event coming up?" Mina was excited of the idea of having and event like their concert, especially with how well it went.
"Maybe it's a field trip!" Kaminari would be ok with any exuse if it meant getting out of doing school work.
"That'd be even better!" Ashido seemed to like Kaminari's idea more than her own, also ok with getting out of any possible work.
Aizawa barked, wanting to get on with it. "That's enough!" Kaminari and Ashido quickly silenced themselves. Not listening to their teacher never worked out for anyone involved. "Now then as I was saying, we're going to start today with something different. Bakugou and Iida, both of you come up to the front."
"Huh?" Despite his confusion, Bakugou made his way to the front along side Iida. "Can we get this over with? I don't want to be stuck up here with 'four-eyes' all class.
"It's funny you'd say that Bakugou," a sly smile creeping up Aizawa's face "because that's exactly what this is about." Pulling out a pair of handcuffs as he said.
For a man who slept most of the day, Aizawa was capable of being surprisingly fast. Enough so that Bakugou had found his right hand cuffed to Iida's left in less time than it took for him to react to his teacher's statement.
"What the hell kind of kink shit is this? You seriously handcuffed us together!?" He was finally able to respond. Obviously being cuffed to another person was not something he was very big on.
"Bakugou, please calm down." Iida, who had been surprisingly quiet, had finally decided to say something. "There is no reason to react in such a way. Please allow Aizawa to explain what is going on.
"No reason to overreact!? We're handuffed together, I think I'm allowed to react however I damn want!" By this point he was getting angry. Despite his anger, he did manage to catch something about his cuff mate. "Why the hell aren't you reacting?! You've barely said a word since we got here, and you don't even look like you give a shit about this! What the fuc-" his anger getting louder and louder, until Aizawa wrapped his bandages around Bakugou's mouth so he couldn't speak anymore.
"Good, now that you're quiet I can explain what I'm doing." He began loosening the wrapping on Bakugou and bringing it back to himself behind the desk. "As you all may know by now, two days ago Bakugou and a student from class 1-B got into a fight during school hours. Originally we were going to suspend each student for a few days and confine them to the dorms." He carried on, no one daring to interrupt him. "However we decided that neither student would learn anything from simply being suspended. So we spoke to each classes representative and they agreed to this; each problem student would be handcuffed to their respective representative for the day, to help them learn an actual lesson."
For a few moments, there was only silence as each student processed what they had been told. Even Bakugou had fallen silent. Midoriya was the first person to break the silence. "Iida, did you really agree to go along with this?" He knew Iida would go far for the sake of helping a classmate, but this seemed a bit too much.
"Of course Midoriya. As class rep it is my responsibility to help my classmates however I can." Iida had finally managed to sound like his normal self again. "While I do admit that this is in no way an ideal situation, I believe it is better than another student falling behind in their studies via suspension."
With Iida having said what he needed to, Aizawa took over speaking again. "Now then, Kouda." With his name being called, he turned stiff. He didn't want to be handuffed to someone too, especially if it was someone like Bakugou. "Would you kindly move your items to Bakugou's desk." Kouda had never felt more at ease than hearing that from his teacher. "For the rest of the day, you'll and Bakugou will switch seats. Bakugou, you and Iida can move your desks closer together so you don't have to hold your arms up." Aizawa was getting tired of having to go through it all, so for the time being he decided to end his speech with one last note. "Iida, this is for you." Out of his pocket he pulled out a small remote and handed it to Iida. "This remote will let you extend the chain between the cuffs by a few feet. It'll spare you the problem of having to be right next to each other in case one of you needs to use the bathroom or shower. I trust you only to use it if absolutely necessary. Now then, the two of you go back to your desks, the rest of this period you can do whatever. With that, he made his way into his sleeping bag to sleep until he was needed again.
The two students made their way back to their new seating arrangements, with Bakugou trying to yank Iida along to little avail. The free period was almost over, but it was going to be a long day for both of them.
