The dorms were booming with music coming from a single room in the building. Everyone know Todoroki was having Midoriya over for the night after class, the first since they had gotten together, but was the music to cover anything they wanted to do in secret?
Eventually Iida got tired of it, and went down the hall, pounding on the door. He had had enough. The music stopped and Midoriya opened the door. They were both fully dressed and a video gamed paused on the small TV. Midoriya tilted his head at his friend, confused.
“Iida-kun,” Midoriya said softly, “is something wrong?”
“Your music is too loud. The rest of us cannot concentrate, Midoriya!”
“Oh! So sorry. We’ll keep it down!”
The door shut in Iida’s face and he walked away. A few minutes later the music was on again but much lower and a different type of song. Were they. Being romantic? After a video game?
“Shouto-kun,” Midoriya whined, “why do I have to learn this?!”
“Because,” Todoroki started, “I over heard Sensei Aizawa and Sensei All Might talking about holding a dance for the students. And if you’re gonna be my date, Im teaching you to slow dance.”
Midoriya groaned and laid his head on Todoroki’s chest, making the taller laugh.
“Let me change the song and we’ll dance some more.”
Midoriya nodded and sat on the bed, watching Todoroki. As he watched he took in every curve of the others body, wanting to memorize them. After a moment a new song started and Todoroki pulled Midoriya into his arms.

Midoriya gasped as he listened to the lyrics. It was an American song, but one most people around the world knew. He brought himself closer to his boyfriend, relaxing in his arms. Todoroki had had his hands wrapped around Midoriya’s shoulders, but with how close they were now, he wrapped Midoriya in a hug as they swayed.

As the song came to its end the two broke their embrace for a kiss, soft yet passionate. Midoriya had never felt safer and more calm than he did in thay moment. Even as the music stopped, they went back to slow dancing, staying in each others arms for as long as they could.
