Sakuya notices that Keiichiro bring his own father on their workday which he only envies about them. “Sakuya, is there something wrong with you?” Hilltop asked the green ranger. “I wish my dad were here though.” Sakuya said.
“Really? Is he busy as usual?” he asked. Sakuya just shook his head saying that “My father is not in this world anymore” and walked away while the other police officers looked at him.
At his apartment, Sakuya laid down in his room for a while as he grabbed a photo of his family where it showed of his parents and himself which it is revealed he is the only child of Hikawa family. “I wish I wasn’t so angry at my dad at that time.” he said.
15-year-old Sakuya is about to finish up his GSPO paperwork in his Internship until his father came towards him. “You’re coming to my car. As in right now!” Mr Hikawa shouted as he grabbed his only son and the car is already moving.
As the car was parked in their parking lot, Mr Hikawa wanted to scold his son about something. “Who do you think called me when you messed up something that is belonged to my company, huh?” he said in a more angrier tone.
Sakuya is unable to raise his head up from his father’s words. “I…” But he was interrupted again. “Do you know I was the only one who wants you to have a great future career? Everyone else said you should have been the successor of my company.” Mr Hikawa continues to explain.
“I get it…” Sakuya whispered. “JUST SHUT UP FOR 10 SECONDS!” Mr Hikawa angrily said which scared his son. “What if you died yesterday? Because that’s on me. And if your mother died… I feel like that’s on you.” Mr Hikawa said which Sakuya still doesn’t get it at all.
“Sakuya, remember these words. With great power, comes great responsibility.” Mr Hikawa said. “Dad, are you afraid I’m gonna get into some trouble and become a delinquent for the rest of my life?” Sakuya asked. “I didn’t mean to lecture you anythi-” “THEN JUST STOP IT!” Sakuya shouted at his father which he feels even more terrible and quickly get out from the car.
“Sweetie, are you going to have dinner with us?” Mrs Hikawa asked. “No thanks mom, I’m gonna be in my room tonight.” Sakuya said as he closed his room door. “What did you say to our baby boy?” Mrs Hikawa asked her husband as Mr Hikawa didn’t say anything at all.
The next day, in Sakuya’s high school, most of his classmates are fooling around in the classroom while Sakuya just stares at the window. “Hikawa-kun, the principal called you.” one of his classmates said as Sakuya stood up from his seat.
Mr Hikawa is on his way to his comapny building as a masked robbery man stabbed his chest causing the latter to lay down on the floor. “What? My dad got stabbed?” Sakuya asked the principal as the older male gave him the news. “The police are checking on him- SAKUYA!” the principal shouted as Sakuya ran out from his the office to find his father.
A police scene was covering the scene and many people were there to see what is happening. Sakuya immediately saw a body that resembles his father. “DAD!” he shouted as he tried to wake him up. “Dad, dad, please… don’t go…” he cried as tears start to fall down on his cheeks. “Sakuya…” Mr Hikawa said as the paramedics carried him to their ambulance.
At the hospital, Sakuya and his mother are in waiting room. “Doctor, how is my husband? Is he going to be okay?” Mrs Hikawa asked. “I have some bad news and I am very sorry about it but your husband has passed away.” the doctor said.
Mrs Hikawa cried after hearing the news while Sakuya just dropped himself on the floor as he remembered what his father told him the other day. It’s his father’s death and it weighs on Sakuya instead. “It’s all my fault…” he said to himself as he couldn’t bring himself up anymore.
Just then, Sakuya heard a doorbell from his apartment where he put down his family photo and sees Keiichiro and Tsukasa visiting him for a while. “Hilltop told us that your father died 8 years ago.” the red ranger said. “Sorry I didn’t tell you guys about my father’s death.” the green ranger said.
“We brought you something that will cheer you up.” the pink ranger said as Keiichiro bring a present for Sakuya. “Sempais… you're the best friends I never had!” Sakuya said with tears continuing roll down on his cheeks as he hugged both Keiichiro and Tsukasa. “This is goona be weird for tomorrow’s work.” Tsukasa said with Keiichiro agreeing with her.
