“Fucking sun,” Midousuji growls, staring out of the window and looking at their flowerpots in the backyard. “It’s killing my tomatoes.”
Onoda would roll his eyes at his datemate’s grumpiness, but they have a point. There has been an awful heat wave all week, and it’s starting to kill all plant life. Including Midousuji’s tomato plants.
“It’s gross, it’s all withered and dead. Fuck the sun,” they mutter.
The patches of grass and plants are dying, making the garden look barren, like a desert. But Midousuji only cares about their tomatoes.
“We can always grow more,” Onoda says.
Midousuji scowls.
