Chapter Text
Each 1-A student took it upon themselves (of course, with permission) to help patrol a city atleast twice a week. Many chose to do it on the weekends, which, was smart.
The dusty sunday evening faintly reminded him of the one back at training camp. He sighed through his nose, yet, kept a confident smile on his face – what was a hero without a strong demeanor, of course?
Humming a bit, he steadied his pace into a light jog while passing the alleyways behind the down-town's corner stores. He doubted anything went on around these parts, and felt it'd be a bit of a waste to search them. Each seemed to mirror eachother, as expected; Empty, but clean. He gave a little smile to the families he saw packing up to go home, the atmosphere refreshing compared to the lively city he grew up in.
Though he was assigned to it, he loved this place! It was often labeled 'quirkless town' – For. . well, it's pretty obvious. To avoid the chaos that goes on everywhere else, many people take it upon themselves to group up and start families here. There were still quirkless families in Musutafu, but they were sparse and more introverted.
Kirishima waved happily at the people he met a few weeks ago; just a regular group of teenagers that found him and his quirk cool. They greeted him back with silly gestures to his hero outfit, earning a hearty laugh from him.
" Yo, Kirishima! " The first male greeted, giving him a bro-hug. Kiri grinned, patting him on the back
" Oh! What's the word, Everyone?! "
" We have some really good news. "
The rest of the group chimed in with additional ideas, until one spoke up
" Another hero has been visiting the city!
Haven't seen them yet, but y'know... getting visited by heroes is.. really cool! – Especially when its you! " They ruffled his hair, earning a booming laugh. He lifted them up, happy to be reunited with people who genuinely enjoyed his company.
After a while of chatting it up, he realized his duty was not fulfilled, and swiftly departed from the group with a wave. Even though it was settling into night – The more he walked, the more he heard and saw of the aforementioned hero; He figured it would be one of the U.A students, but it wouldn't.. well, didn't make sense.
Noone from 1-A, 1-B or 2-A even volunteered to see this city, much less knew its significance or what lay here. It was too small for multiple people to be assigned to it – it only took 30 minutes to drive in and out of it.
Even Shiketsu was out of the picture – much too far away. He figured he'd just have to look more into it when he got back to his dorm.
