My Hell Academia

Summary:

Based off the Inverted AU of My Hero Academia that has a TON of artwork, but not a lot of actual works on the idea- yes there’s the AUs where certain characters are turned into villains, but what happens when the ENTIRE world is flipped to be treated like DC’s Earth 3- this fic is my idea on how it would work out. Please enjoy!

Notes:

A lot of character bios and some changes to Quirks are based off dangerouslyzaneyperson’s post on tumblr on this AU.

Chapter 1: End of An Era

Chapter Text

3rd Person POV

(So, Bakugou’s, Deku’s character traits are fully based off dangerouslyzaneyperson’s post. Here.)

The first incident of human gaining powers began Keikei City. The first person to showcase their power to the public was a newborn baby that glowed in the dark. As the story calmed and everyone agreed to be accepting more people began to open up about their own powers, the oldest being about 14, and as kids continued to develop these abilities it was quickly realized that this was not something isolated or that could be contained.

Governments came to a standstill and it was the scientific community that took action, wanting to find out as much as they could about these abilities as quickly as possible.

What the communities found was that the abilities usually manifested around age four- though as always with human beings there were outliers, the youngest was the first public reveal and the eldest was around age 7- the next thing society found was the missing joint in a person’s pinky toe which seemed to always be present in someone who had a power.

As the years progressed, governments managed to adjust laws with these powers- which as the second generation of users were coming to gain theirs became known as Quirks- in mind.

With this surge of power, criminals began to become a common occurrence, from the darkness rose a new profession. One only meant for the foolish. Heroics. Thanklessly working to protect the innocent from those criminals.

Or at least, that’s how it began, Heroics became a mainstream idea fast enough, backed by police and governments around the world Heroes fought to be popular in order to hold their paychecks.

From these rotten heroes, there were few that stood above the rest, ones who were true to being a Hero. Until one by one, they were all cut down by true villains, not mere criminals, but people who wanted their desires more than anything anyone had ever thought possible.

One of these villains became the tipping point of the scale, one of the last Hero deaths was caused by who is now the most powerful villain of all.

Supreme One.

It was him who tipped the balance, brought villains together to not cause chaos, but rule as they deserved, and prevent the horrors they lived through from happening to anyone else.

From the ashes of the fallen hero-society rose the League of Villains- a central command that took the chaos that had so many people frightened and actually worked to make it disappear.

The only difference was they didn’t stop at arresting the criminals, they gave no second chances, and never strode for fame. Supreme One was the one who reigned in the ideas. Streamlining them, and creating a structured system of villains.

He ruled with an iron will and as strong of a fist to match. He was the one who controlled what people used to call aberants and created a command chain that those under him thrived in. In the span of few short years, the system he created ran smoothly, and the public gave their support to it.

A system that was created to find those who had the potential to continue the stronghold of preventing the revolution by small bands of heroes that occasionally arose and maintain All Supreme’s League of Villains as the primary powerhouse.

The system Supreme One created was narrow-minded and as the aging villain saw an uprising begin another power rose to take his place. Killing the leader of the Heroes in a matter of weeks, destroying the entire revolution in one fell swoop.

Supreme One saw him as the final turning point in the path of Heroics, because now, thirty years after he began, Heroes were something the public was even against. They held minuscule numbers before- less than 10,000 at the start of their revolution- those numbers were now most likely to be in the triple digits.

Supreme One offered this new champion two things, a place as the next commander of the League of Villains and a name for him to always be known by.

The champion only accepted one of these. He instead offered an idea in exchange.

From this idea came a circuit of schools created to take the place of traditional high school and instead bring those with the potential to where they belonged. In front of the League of Villains, and right where they belonged to have the best opportunities presented to them by other villains who will lead them where their abilities could benefit the power flow.

“What would be the next major event that has occurred in recent history?”

A pale boy’s spiky black hair shadowed his squinty caribbean colored eyes as he kept his shoulders rolled and his attention squarely on the notebook in front of him.

Just make it look like you’re paying attention. He told himself. Just get through today and you’ll be fine. You won’t need to think about it again, because you’ll finally be out of the school system by the time this day rolls around again.

“Bakugou.” the teacher’s voice snapped, in the same moment his eyes met the teacher’s clearly annoyed gaze.

“Yes?” he asked hesitantly.

The teacher sighed. “What was the next major event to occur in recent history?”

For just a moment he hesitated, it was the small jab to his shoulder blade that brought about his voice.  “The next major event would be the creation of second-tier high schools… ones that are meant to rank under Yuuei and Shiketsu.” he recited, as the teacher nodded he finally breathed easily and sat back down. Though the small glimpse of purple-shadowed white hair made him stiffen and sit further forward in his own chair.

“Alright…” the teacher clearly expected him to do better, but also seemed to be in no mood to argue with his answer. The raven let the low baritone pitch turn into background noise, his pen moving easily again after a few moments.

The bell was welcomed to finally dismiss them for the day. The raven stood up, sliding his backpack onto one shoulder. His gaze dropping even further as he heard the person who sat behind him slide out of his own chair and stand on the other side of the desk. The smaller figure stopped, without even seeing his eyes Katsuki Bakugou knew that he was looking at him.

“Kacchan?” the voice asked, despite the higher pitch and the use of a childhood nickname Katsuki knew exactly who it was and what that question really meant.

“I’m coming.” he assured, raising his head to take in the freckles, aurora colored eyes, and white hair that he’d known almost all his life. The features that he had seen morph from a genuinely happy smile to a sadistic one as they continued to age. “Zucchan.”
