Your eyes crack open to see faintly glowing and gently flowing strands of what almost looks like hair. The strands are crimson in color. It’s all dark except for the subtle red shine so you assume it’s night. As you start to process what in front of you, you realize you are staring at a puzzled face and you startle. The strands were, in fact, hair.
The person’s—if it could be called that—face shows a similar sense of surprise. The being has hair and eyes that match that vibrant red of its hair, and there are glowing silver blobs floating around its form. It carries itself with a stillness so silent, you would be surprised it was not a statue had it not furrowed its brows a moment before. Its figure is lean and its skin is so paper-white that seems inhuman. You did not find anything particularly human about the creature besides its shape.
“What are you?” You realize the slight rudeness of your rushed question a moment too late, but are also confused and unfamiliar with all that currently surrounds you.
”And...where am I?”
The red-haired creature somehow manages to look even more bemused than before.
You groan.
Its face morphs into a mildly irritate expression. The silver globs starting to take a slightly spikier shape as they take a step back.
So it did understand similar social cues. Not one-hundred percent alien at least. You can’t help but be relieved at that. You take a deep breath and force your shoulders to relax as you make steady eye contact with the strange-being. You hope nervously the message of ‘I’m not being a threat’ is reaches them.
After a few moments (in which two seconds in you had started fidgeting) they seem to have decided on something. Red-hair starts walking with quick momentum, and you, not knowing how else to manage, start to follow. You do contemplate how this may be a very bad decision, but the gem-like being hasn’t done anything to hurt you yet, right?
As you rise to your feet, you notice that you are bare from head to toe. The the heat of embarrassment rushes to your head. You let out a squeak of shock. You rush to cover your body and the gem-like creature looks back at you with something akin to...disgust? Rude.

You rub your arms as you follow Red-hair to what you hope is safety. The chill bites your skin. You let out a shuddery breath and you look over to see one red eye glancing back at you. Your long-legged companion picks up the pace to your dismay. You let out a huff and force your legs to swing the slightest bit faster.
