namjoon was late for his class work. let me rephrase that, he was really late for class. he spent the previous night finishing his essay that was ironically for this class.
he tried to call his friend who only called him an idiot for not finishing his essay earlier, so he had only one option left, run. it would take him at least 20 minutes to get to campus even if he ran with all his power "maybe I should invest in a bike," he muttered to himself as he was starting to get out of breath.
he could see his building and started to pick up the pace when he bumped into someone so hard he fell to the ground. he was about to yell at said person for standing in his way when he saw him hover over him. "oh my god, I am so sorry, are you okay?" before namjoon could say anything he was getting pulled up from the ground by the stranger "it's my first day here and I tried to search it up on my phone where I was going, I guess it wasn't the best idea to stand in the middle of the street. are you okay?"
namjoon quickly nodded and cleared his throat " oh wow" he thought to himself. he notice that the guy was staring at him with a concerned look which made him realize he hadn't even said anything yet so he blurted out "yeah yeah, I'm fine, totally fine. super fine " (super fine? really namjoon stop talking) he noticed the guy sigh in relief.
"well as long as you're okay, I think I should get to the information building and ask them where I'm going, maybe I'll see you around?" the stranger gave him a smile and was about to turn and leave when namjoon borderline shouted "I can help you and show you around?" "oh really? that would be great! are you sure though? it looked like you were in a hurry," "don't worry about it," namjoon said at he thought there's no harm in missing one class.
"i'm namjoon, by the way," he introduced himself.
"nice to meet you namjoon, i'm jin."
