Chapter Text
“Come on, Fuyumi, hurry up,” Touya hissed as he continued to bundle up the youngest. Natsuo came running back with a bag full of clothes and blankets—Fuyumi soon followed with a bag bursting with food. Wind continued to slam against the house, but the driveway remained empty. “We have to be far away from here by the time Endeavor gets back. We have everything we need, right? Did you remember the suppressants?” Natsuo nodded and the oldest quickly ushering them out the door. He locked it for good measure and stashed the key inside his pocket.
He motioned for them to follow him and made his way through the forest on a memorized route planned just for this moment. He pulled out a bottle of scent canceling spray and quickly sprayed them as well as himself. With that, they melted into the night.
By morning they had reached a hidden clearing with a small shack in the middle. There was a tiny pond beside the shack and it looked to have solar panels and a water well.
Touya opened the door and motioned for them to enter. Once inside he lay down the sleeping youngest on the couch. “I found this place a while ago. It’s hidden enough that no one would find it and in the weirdest spot so no one will even know it’s here in the first place.”
Fuyumi set down the bag of food and looked through the kitchen. “Oh, you’ve already stocked a little. That’s good.” She switched on the light. “And it has power! That means we have a heater, right?” Touya nodded and Natsuo let out a small ‘whoop’ in his half tired state.
“I’ve already equipped it with a couple of beds and also some medical supplies.” He went into the bathroom and came out with a couple of boxes. “And most importantly, hair dye.”
The sister took the box and saw the swatch of black. “Hair dye?”
Touya nodded. “Yep, and I already have a job ready for me, but I’m going to need to cover up this red hair because it’s a little, well, recognizable.” Fuyumi and Natsuo looked at his hair and agreed. “This will give me more breathing room to do things like collecting supplies. If either of you leave the house, wear a hat or dye your hair too. We don’t want people to ask questions or we might be found out. And if anyone asks, our last name is Tanaka.” His siblings nodded.
Natsuo was then tasked with getting the youngest in a proper bed after setting up one in the shack’s only bedroom as Touya took Fuyumi to show her how to work the heater. Once the youngest siblings were gone, the oldest turned to his sister.
“I got you contacts and a fake ID. You’re going to school in order to teach Natsuo and Shouto what they need. It’s your task to take care of those two and make sure to educate and help them grow when I’m not here. I know it’s a lot especially since you are just entering Junior high, but I need you to be here for them, okay?” Touya held her gaze and once she nodded, he pulled her in for a tight hug.
“Natuso,” he called out as his brother shuffled back into the main room, “You stay here and take care of Shouto as well as the house. It’s your job to make sure nothing happens to him and to keep the house clean and fixed, also with keeping the surrounding area clear of anything dangerous. Teach Shouto some of those moves you’ve been practicing—I’ll continue with teaching you the ones that I know.” Natsuo nodded—Touya pulled him into the hug so all three of them were holding one another.
Touya lay his head on top of Fuyumi’s and glanced the bedroom door that blocked his view of Shouto. “It’s going to take teamwork and strength now that we’re on our own, and even if we get caught remember these two things I’m about to tell you.” He pulled back so that he could see his sibling’s faces, a hand on each of their shoulders. “One—Shouto is our first priority, we have to do everything no matter what to help him grow or protect him; Two—under no circumstance are we to return to Endeavor, even if we’re captured and my word isn’t trusted by the captor, you two make sure that the man never lays a hand or eyes on any of you again. Understood?” They nodded vigorously which Touya met with another hug. They would be safe; He would make sure of it.

Chapter Text
Shouto rolled the toy car back and forth across the window sill waiting for Fuyumi to return home. Behind him, Natuso was doing the normal every other day cleaning such as dusting, sweeping, and occasionally vacuuming. The heating was still on considering the last snow was still on the ground.
“Shouto, clean up your things before Nee-chan comes home,” Natuso called as he put away the cleaning supplies. The youngest stood up and gathered all of his things and put them in their respective spots.
Just as he finished, the door opening.
“I’m home! And I’ve got some school work for you guys to do!” The girl kicked off her boots at the entrance and put them away neatly for taking off her scarf, mitts and coat which were all hung neatly on the coat rack. “Also, Touya said he was coming home soon so you guys get to learn some new fighting moves.”
Natsuo cheered which Shouto copied in a less booming voice. They sat down at the dinning table and started on the work that Fuyumi had brought them, occasionally asking for help. After they had finished, Fuyumi started teaching them how to create delicate sculptures with their ice.
The older siblings had agreed early on to teach Shouto how to use his quirks from the ground up, starting with controlling the output in both size and strength, as well as teaching him the rules on how and when to use them.
Fuyumi had taken to showing him how to make strong but small ice sculptures to help him with putting all his power into making something—delicately and controlled. For Natsuo though, she was teaching him some offensive and defensive moves that she was learning at her quirk practice center—it taught aspiring heroes how to use their quirks, though Fuyumi had no intention of becoming a hero.
Touya, like Fuyumi, was helping Shouto was controlling how much heat and power he put into his fire. Cooler fire was used for bigger attacks while hotter fire was for small attacks.
Despite telling each other everything, none of the siblings knew where Touya worked. He would sometimes be gone for days and only for a couple of hours on others. And for the amount of time he was working, Touya definitely made his money’s worth as it was rolling in quicker than they had anticipated.
Fuyumi had once expressed her concern about his job since that amount of money at his age could only be made in the red district, but he assured her that it wasn’t anything like that and that he was still clean and innocent in that sense.
Natsuo had to agree with her though that Touya was making quite a bit of money for a 17-year-old turning 18.
Once he started to show up with piercings and tattoos, Fuyumi put an end to the questions about his job because she knew what types of people had those things done. Thugs, drug dealers, mafia and villains. She didn’t want to find out which one he was, but she had an inkling of which one, especially with the rise of the Hero Killer: Stain.
She made sure to not bring it up to her younger brothers—who hardly left the clearing let alone go into town since the day they ran away. Sure Natsuo had to go to town when he needed to, but he rarely stayed long enough to read the news or stop to talk to anyone about recent events. Shouto was almost oblivious about the outside world—the only things he watched were DVD versions of All Might documentaries and cartoon shows that his older siblings saw when they were younger.
They didn’t get cable, internet or cell service in the woods because it protected them from being found, but also let them live without worrying about seeing something that could cause them to panic.
Fuyumi knew some things, and once had the front row seat to a villain fight, but other than that she let herself remain clueless because she didn’t want to know. And most definitely didn’t want to have the unfortunate happen: seeing Endeavor’s face.
In a way Natsuo was lucky to not have to worry about people possibly questioning him, but on the other hand, Shouto and him weren’t getting to fully experience their childhoods.
The ice boy had been the main carer for Shouto for almost 3 years now and was only now turning 12 years old. When they had run away, Fuyumi herself was 12 years old, so she couldn’t even imagine raising anyone since the age of 9. For now, the biggest problem was what he was going to present as at 13 years old. Touya would most likely get another dynamic predictor pack in order to help sooth any worries.
Shouto, now 9 years old, was thriving. They had created the happiest memories so far at this cabin and he had flourished under the attention and care. There were moments when Fuyumi thought about what would happen if they didn’t run away, but those thoughts were easily stomped down at the sight of her brother’s smile. In addition to that, the burn scar that ran from his neck and branched off across his shoulder, stayed as a reminder as to why it was better this way.
Fuyumi still sometimes felt bad though that he was only stuck with his siblings, but that was quickly solved.
On the day of Touya’s 18th birthday, he brought home a person with large red wings. The boy was around Fuyumi’s age and was a beta just like her. He had straggly blond hair and brown eyes. The oldest motioned for the other to enter and then dropped a cake onto the table.
“I got a cake to celebrate, oh and maybe a boyfriend, but let’s just ignore that for now.” Touya walked over to Fuyumi and hugged her before looking at what she was preparing. “You got beef this year, nice. Want me to start the fire?” Already knowing the answer, he left to light the fire pit where they would be cooking their dinner.
Natsuo peeked around the doorway of the only bedroom and scowled at the new person. “Who are you?”
The winged boy turned his head to lock eyes with the white haired boy. “Hawks, but that’s just my nickname. Only special people are allowed to use my real one.” Hawks snickered when Natsuo stuck his tongue out at him before ducking back into the bedroom.
The white haired brother soon left the bedroom with a tired and bundled up Shouto shuffling in front of him. He plopped the other down on the couch before joining Fuyumi in the kitchen.
Touya came back in and chuckled at the youngest as he flopped over and curled up on the sofa. The ravenette leaned over the sofa and ran his hand through Shouto’s duel colored hair. The boy looked up at Touya and then lay eyes on Hawks.
“Who are you?” A simple question dampened by tiredness.
Hawks opened his mouth to answer, but Touya cut him off. “It’s your new mommy,” he teased. Hawks scowled and elbowed the older boy in the stomach.
Shouto scrunched up his face. “You got married without us?”
“I’m his boyfriend, actually,” Hawks clarified before Fuyumi pulled Touya outside to grill the meat. “Said he wanted me to meet his family for the first time. I didn’t think the family would only be his younger siblings though.”
Shouto hummed. “I like it here, it’s quiet. And I get to play with Natsuo-nii-chan all the time.”
Hawks tilted his head before sitting down the sofa. Natsuo followed and glared at the teen. The winged boy sent him a smirk. “So, Shouto, what’s your favorite food?”
“Soba.”
“Oh, and what about your favorite candy?”
“I like the honey candies. They’re sweet but not too much.”
Natsuo, feeling left out, blurted out: “Touya has the worst sweet tooth. I feel like dying every time he buys his favorites.”
Hawks chuckled. “Heh, good thing I don’t have a big sweet either, otherwise we would all be dying—he wanted to get a super sweet, 7 chocolate, swirl cheese cake with a strawberry sauce on top.” Natsuo stuck out his tongue in disgust and Shouto let out a whimper—even the thought made his teeth hurt. Hawks could only laugh at their reactions.
The silence they sat in was only broken when the two eldest siblings re-entered the house with a platter full of cooked and fresh food. The ones on the couch quickly sat at the table and the food was served.
Hawks observed the small family. They all seemed to baby Shouto...a lot. More than one should towards a 9-year-old, but Shouto seemed to have no problem with it. He wasn’t exactly basking—it was more like a plant that glowed in the sunlight, or a puppy that relaxed when petted. This made Hawks question how much of Touya’s story was true. Did their parents really abandon them? If so, why did they live so far in the woods, was it for safety or another reason...
There was also the strangeness that none of their hair colors were the same. Touya’s was pitch black, almost a navy blue, Fuyumi’s was a dark, unassuming brown, Natsuo had snow white hair that looked like it had been stripped of color recently, and Shouto had an odd duel color of red and white. If it weren’t for their similar features and eyes colors, Hawks would’ve thought they had all come from different parents.
They were strange, but they looked happy, so later that night he promised Touya that he would not say a word about this to others. The other ominously told him that it was for the best, least something bad happen.
Notes:
Touya/Dabi doesn't have any burns and instead has tattoos and wears a sugar skull inspired sick/surgical mask.
Shouto's scar has been moved to the lower part of his neck and the top of his shoulder, but is still on the same side (obviously). Also, Hawks! Yay! But he's only going to show up once more in this part of the series.
Chapter 3
Notes:
The longest chapter in the whole book (I think?). I'm working on making longer chapters, but I write full books and then break them up into chapters based on what goes together, after that, it's hard to add scenes.
This is the last time Touya will be showing up, but he will make his return in the next part of the series!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
The seasons passed along with the time as they continued on with their routine. Soon enough Fuyumi was graduating from high school and getting her degree in order to become a teacher. She now had to study and do homework more and for longer periods of time, so Natsuo had to once again fill in as the main carer in Shouto’s life at the age of 15 going onto 16.
Though Hawks had been a huge help to them, his time was now taken up by hero work, especially since he was in the process of starting his own hero agency. He taught Shouto a couple of things about hero work as well as the hero program at UA, though Shouto only really took interest in the fighting and course work rather than hero work, and seemed to have his heart set on becoming a teacher there through the general education program.
It was understandable that he didn’t have that much interest in hero work, because to him, villains and heroes were more like stories than something from reality, like in the old days. He watched All Might fight all the time on old DVDs, but he never encountered villains, never saw a fight, never had to think about how the world would have judged him by what his quirk was and what he should be according to his ability.
They knew that at one point he would want to leave to see what the world outside was like, but they didn’t know how to show him that outside world without possibly tipping off where they were. The only thing they could do was make sure that he was skilled enough to fight anything that attacked him.
And he wasn’t the only one learning how to fight, all the others were too, some better than others. All of their skill levels had increased since the beginning and each of them had specialized tactics in order to protect Shouto if the worst were to happen.
Fuyumi walked down the road towards the path that would take her home. Today was the anniversary of them leaving Endeavor. It was a chillier day, just like the one 10 years ago. She could still remember the way that Touya ran through the house to collect them all before bundling up Shouto in his jacket and blankets in order to shield him from the frigid wind. She didn’t know until a month after that night that Touya had planned for them to leave the moment Shouto turned 5 and got his quirk. His plan was to take the whole family, including their mother, while Endeavor was doing hero work, unfortunately fate would not have it. Instead it was the night that Endeavor took their mother to be admitted into the hospital that Touya whisked them all away from a bad future.
Back then, Touya was her hero, but she knew now that some things weren’t as straightforward as she had originally thought. Touya, or rather Dabi, had made a deal with a group of villains to attack on a certain day to distract Endeavor so that he could take them all away from that house. The deal was that he was to become a villain and they would make sure that no one went looking for them once they left.
The villains took this as a sign to attack the cities...continuously. Though All Might was able to ward off a good number of them, his ability to fight seemed to drop around the time Shouto turned 10. It wasn’t noticeable to most people, but to Fuyumi it was considering she was always corralled into watching all of his old videos with her younger brothers. It wasn’t just that though, she was a teacher, an elementary school teacher, and it was her job to notice every single detail in order to teach them to the best of her ability.
This ability also tuned her into the fact that someone was following her. She continued to walk forward as if she didn’t notice, but she discretely pressed on Touya’s number and sent him the number 6. There was no reply, but she knew that he had gotten it, after all he was at home watching over the other two.
She knew it would happen eventually. Instead of walking past, she turned and walked down the path towards the house. It was time.
“That’s her, right?” A man with long blond hair spiked upward held up two photos to compare the two. “She grew up well, doesn’t look malnourished or hurt. No obvious signs of abuse or...other things.”
The man beside him with inky black hair grunted. “Yeah, well a lot of abusers know what they're doing when it comes to these things. According to our information, the house is about half a mile into the forest. They really are masters at hiding in plain sight if their living that close to this road, it’s a wonder they weren’t found earlier.”
“Well-”
“Shhh,” Aizawa raised his hand and pointed to something in the trees. “That’s not a shadow. I think someone else is following her.”
Mic looked up into the trees. “We would’ve been informed if they were sending back up...that means that could only be-”
Aizawa raised his goggled to cover his eyes. “Villains.”
Fuyumi shivered and sent Touya another text. Within a minute Natsuo had arrived at her location. “More than two people are following, but they’re movements are weird and from different angles.” She pulled him down the path at a quicker pace. “I think more than one group found us, and I would very much like to never meet one of them.”
As soon as the words left her mouth a large figure landed in front of Natsuo and her. It looked very inhuman and animalistic. A nomu.
Fuyumi sent up a wall of ice and pulled her brother behind her and towards the house. Natsuo shielded her when the beast broke the wall and made a layer of ice on the ground behind them to hopefully slow it down. Another villain landed to their side and swung their arms that had been transformed into weapons.
Fuyumi couldn’t help but flinch when it nicked her, but she soldiered on. They had to get Shouto and get out, Touya would know what to do after that. This was one of those times that she wished Hawks had come over, his feathers would’ve been useful to slow down the villains and get them away faster and safer, alas he was currently on a mission and that left the siblings to deal with everything. Two ice quirks, one fire, and practically a child who didn’t know how to fight a real fight. Dammit, Shouto had only just gotten past his 6th heat, he wasn’t strong enough to fight right now if he could.
It was times like these that she was glad that Natsuo and her were betas and that Touya was an alpha due to Omegas within the same family usually syncing up. It was better than only one of them was out of commission, than two of them.
Right now, all they had to do was get to their Alpha and everything would be fine. He had protected them once before, he could do it again, she knew he could.
Something else landed and Natsuo let out a curse. She turned and gulped. Pro hero, Present Mic. Fuyumi gripped his hand and pulled him to run faster. They were so close.
And then something snagged her ankle.
“Fuyumi!” Natsuo stumbled from being pulled back with Fuyumi before crouching down to help her back up. She pulled at the capture weapon and started to breath heavier when she realized that it wasn’t letting up.
“Todoroki Fuyumi and Natsuo, you are under arrest,” the hero jumped down and pulled on the capture weapon, effectively pulling Fuyumi back down to the ground.
Present Mic ran towards them and stopped right beside the other hero. “Kamui Woods and CO just arrived and are taking care of the nomu.”
Aizawa grunted and turned his attention back to the two siblings. He gave them a glare and sent another section of his capture weapon in order to detain the brother. Instantly, a barrier of ice was erected and Aizawa was forced to release all tension on the scarf or it would’ve caused damage to the sister’s leg, to his arms or to the capture weapon itself.
Mic let out a small yell that shattered the ice and behind it was the two siblings waiting for their next attack.
Aizawa narrowed his eyes. Unusually behavior for two Betas—unmated, no scent of children or of a partner. That could only mean one thing then. An Omega. Either the youngest Todoroki was an Omega, or these two were part of something a lot darker. The teacher didn’t even want to think that the latter option was that, an option, but in this current world there was a lot of things that could happen.
“Fuyumi, his goggles!” The brother yelled out and Mic cursed when Aizawa’s goggles got iced over. He wasn’t stupid though and didn’t remove them, if he did, who knows what they would try to do to his eyes. Unfortunately, in order to protect his eyes, that meant he was going in blind and quirkless.
He took a moment to reorient himself and that’s when he heard it.
The shrill of an Omega.
Fuyumi sent up another wall as the voice hero got ready to activate his quirk. The wall was destroyed, but that wasn’t the only sound that they heard.
She sent up another wall and turned to Natsuo. “Go to Shouto and help Nii-chan!” She pushed him when he didn’t move just as the ice wall shattered. Now there were three heroes and Fuyumi cursed her luck.
The tree hero, Kamui Woods, attacked her with his quirk and she sent up another wall.
“What the hell are you doing, Mic, go after the boy!” The hero with the capture weapon yelled.
Please get back to Shouto, please.
Natsuo ran before leaning forward like a speed skater in order to create a sheet of ice behind and just in front of him so that he could go faster. He swayed side to side easily, but tripped slightly at the sound of something exploding and then a giant wall of ice, bigger than anything Fuyumi could ever make, reached up and high above the treetops.
Shouto.
He sped up again and growled when he heard the sound of a pro hero behind him. He slowed down at the edge of the clearing and stared wide-eyed at the scene before. The house was fine, albeit a little damaged, but behind it, encasing the entire pond, was a giant wall of ice. No, a glacier.
In it were multiple small fry villains, but at the base was his youngest and oldest brothers.
The family Alpha had his arms wrapped around a shaking Shouto who was letting out large amounts of distressed pheromones. Natsuo raced towards them, but was stopped by the damn capture weapon.
The team of now four pro heroes—3 males, 1 female—walked into the clearing. A couple of them eye the giant mountain of ice, but the capture weapon hero, who was now ice-free, stared down at the three brothers. In the arms of the female pro hero, Midnight, was their sister, fast asleep.
“Dabi,” Aizawa spat. “Who would’ve thought that you were the famed kidnapper of the Todoroki children. Or should I call you their brother, Todoroki Touya.” His brother growled at the group and pulled the panicked Omega closer to him.
Natsuo felt nauseous at the conflicting scent of Touya’s protectiveness and calming pheromones mixed with aggressive ones.
“Put the Omega down, Touya,” the capture weapon hero pulled Natsuo in more. “We could do this the hard way, or the easy way, and that all depends on how much collateral damage you’re aiming for.”
Shouto ducked his head below Touya’s jacket collar and pulled the frigid fabric closer to his body. He was cold and scared. He didn’t like the scents of the heroes and didn’t like that they were pulling apart his family.
Touya’s grip on him tightened as he crooned and then slowly lay him down. Shouto let out a little shrill but his brother didn’t return to his side. He curled up under the jacket and tried to ignore the heroes around him. He didn’t want to leave, he wanted to go back in time and have it stay the way it had always been before.
He let out another shrill when someone tried to pick him up, hoping that one of his siblings would come and help him. Nothing happened. So he let out another. He was able to get out one more before sleep was forced on him.
And then, it was black.
Notes:
They call Aizawa the capture weapon hero because he's an underground hero, so they don't know his real hero name nor do they recognize him at all.
Also, when Fuyumi iced over his goggles, he hadn't activated his quirk yet (Natsuo guessed that the goggles had something to do with Aizawa's quirk since Natsuo studied different types of quirks (not specific ones) in case anyone attacked them). Aizawa, obviously, wouldn't take off his goggles cause they are there for a reason and that is: to protect his eyes.
Chapter 4
Notes:
Sorry for the delay, I got caught up with school work (nothing like have 3 major project due in one week...)

Chapter Text
Aizawa watched from the corner of the room as the police officer continued to question Todoroki Fuyumi. She looked nervous, nothing like the protective Beta from before. He narrowed his eyes and tried to look for any sign of a lie, and oddly enough there was none. He needed to know the extent of whatever was going on with that family and then maybe they could negotiate what to do with the youngest of them: Shouto.
The police officer motioned for Aizawa to follow him out. Tsukauchi Naomasa was waiting for them as soon as they left the interrogation room.
“All their stories and motives match up, unfortunately for them though, Dabi isn’t someone we can trust easily due to what he’s done. There’s also the problem on whether he got someone to change their memories or not.” Tsukauchi took the file from the other police officer to check.
Aizawa thought for a moment. “Let’s bring them all in the same room together, see how they react and act. Maybe this is as straightforward as we previously thought. Has Endeavor been informed of the situation?”
Tsukauchi nodded. “Though he’s on a mission right now, so he’ll be delayed.” He turned to the nearest officer. “Please take all of the Todoroki siblings in holding to this interrogation room, and make sure that they have the quirk suppressant bands on.”
The pro hero watched the officer leave and sighed. “What of the youngest? Any updates?”
“No,” Tsukauchi crossed his arms, “he’s still knocked out, but the doctor said that he was doing fine. Better than fine, he’s incredibly healthy. His quirk is very stable which means he’s been practicing. His scent has leveled out from his heat, so hopefully when he wakes up he won’t be as panicked, but that’s unlikely considering we completely uprooted him from his previous home.”
“This is a mess.” Aizawa watched as the two brothers were brought into the interrogation room. He knew it was a horrible thought, but it would’ve been so much simpler if Dabi had been a kidnapper because then they could have a reason to convict him. However, it was debunked as both the other siblings said that they ran away together, the reason though had yet to be discovered.
He turned to Tsukauchi. “I’m going to try and get a rise out of them. Maybe if they feel threatened they’ll finally tell us what we need to move on.” Aizawa stepped toward the door and stopped the officers from following. “Let me try alone first. Civilians tend to feel more under pressure when there’s just a pro hero.” Because apparently we’re seen as all-seeing, always truthful people who will stop at nothing to get to the root of the problem. Aizawa knew that in reality only the latter one was practically true.
He walked into the room and stared down at the three siblings. Fuyumi was sitting in a perfect pose with her hands on her lap, her younger brother had his arms on the table, hands clamped together. Dabi was sitting with an easy going pose, but his face was covered with a scowl.
“Endeavor will be arriving in the next couple of days in order to sort this out,” Aizawa started, and just like he predicted all three siblings tensed. “Due to Shouto’s age, he will be placed back under Endeavor’s custody.” Other than Dabi, the other two started to fidget. “And you three will be cut off from contacting Shouto while serving time for your crimes.” He lay his hands on the table and leaned forward. “Unless you can tell me why you ran away.”
Dabi narrowed his eyes at him and leaned forward as well. “If you had seen what he did to us, you would’ve done the exact same thing.”
Aizawa sat back. “What sort of things?”
The villain scowled and sat back as well. He looked at his siblings who were staring at him, waiting for their Alpha to speak. “Have you ever felt so desperate for something that you did something stupid, but never regretted it? Have you ever felt the raging need to protect and did the only thing you could think of? Because I have, and I will do it over and over again if that is what it takes.” Dabi narrowed his eyes. “I bet you can simply imagine what type of person he is now.”
“And how do we know you’re not lying? Know that you haven’t manipulated your siblings? In the grand scheme of things, your words mean almost nothing due to your occupation.” Aizawa hit the table with his fist.
He tensed when the three siblings suddenly stood. There was a screech through the intercom and he knew that there were officers outside ready to detain them if they made a run for it. Dabi was the first to bow, followed closely by the other two.
The villain kept his mouth shut as the other two spoke out. “Please don’t send him to Endeavor, please!” “I’ll go to prison for 5 times the amount if that means that he’ll never have to see that man in person ever again!”
Dabi looked up and locked eyes with the pro hero. “I swear it on my life that you will find no tampering with memories and that all that has been said is the truth.”
And then a silence.
Aizawa sighed and stood up. “We’ll discuss what to do with all of you, as of now you will return to your cells and be the good little children you are.” With that, the door opened and officers rushed in to take the siblings away. Aizawa walked past Tsukauchi. “Gather everyone, we’re having a meeting in an hour. And don’t call for me, I have something I need to do.” Endeavor, what the hell have you done.
The pro hero watched the siblings being taken away before turning and heading towards the achieves.
Fuyumi was guided down the hallway of the hospital and towards the familiar scent that was soured by the smell of fear. The Beta pursed her lips as they arrived and was motioned to enter the room.
Shouto was curled up in the corner furthest from the door, under the window, with a pile of blankets on top of him and a pile of pillows below him. She could see that the hospital had tried to make him relax by providing nesting materials, but she knew her brother and his picky habits.
He would only nest if he had a scent he felt safe with.
It had caused a huge panic and fight when he had first presented and rejected both Natsuo and her’s things before stealing all of Touya’s only to hole himself up in the linen closet. It had taken the Alpha a couple of minutes to get their youngest out of the closet, and another heat for Shouto to acclimate to his other siblings.
Nesting was something Shouto loved to do. The thing he was currently lying on was a sad excuse for a bed.
Fuyumi sighed and crouched near the Omega to pull the blanket off of his face. He stared at her with his dual colored eyes and whined.
“I know, sweetie,” she sat down and ran her hand through his hair, “I promise though that we’ll come back to you as soon as possible. Until then, please try not to cause them too much trouble and promise me that you’ll at least try and get to know others. It may take some time, but Natsuo and I will be returning to you and be able to take care of you again. Touya...Touya might need to stay a little longer.”
Shouto whined and curled up in the blankets before tugging at Fuyumi’s sweater. She smiled and pulled it over her head, leaving her in a thin t-shirt. He clutched it to his chest and finally started to fix his nest. Within minutes it was complete and Fuyumi was prompted into scent marking as many pillows and blankets as she could get at.
“We promise you that you will never have to see Endeavor, and that we will return to you in time.” Fuyumi hugged her brother. “And who knows, maybe you’ll find someone you take a liking to.”
Shouto pursed his lips, obviously not convinced.
Notes:
It's really fun writing this series! I'm going to have to do some editing on the rest of this installment cause after writing the 4th (yes 4th!) installment, I realized that there is a lot I can add to this to make it a little longer. I won't be speeding up on posting (keeping it to once a week) cause I unknowingly made the right amount of chapter (and posted at the right time) that the New Year's Eve installment will be posted in the new year and Shouto's birthday installment will be the day after his birthday!
I'm also currently setting up my masterpost (?) tumblr where everything I created will be linked/posted and will have added little things that can be organized, so look out for the link to that either next update or the one after that!
Chapter Text
Shouto wasn’t allowed at the trial, but then again neither was Endeavor. It seemed like his siblings really were dead set on that hero never meeting him or having the chance to lay his cold, piercing eyes on the Omega.
The teen sighed. The only thing they would tell him was that Fuyumi and Natsuo would have to do community service hours and had a guarantee that this would not go onto their records. He was also told that the only reason Endeavor wasn’t trying to force his way in was because they made a deal that Shouto would be placed in Class 1-A at UA and therefore will be living in the dorms with the rest of the class.
They also told him that it would take a couple of months for everything to be completely settled before his siblings would be given legal custody over Shouto, which made the Omega happy, but also sad because he wanted his siblings now.
Unlike the others though, Touya’s trial as a villain had yet to be concluded and there were still ongoing investigations into the accusations towards Endeavor. Thankfully though, when checked, all of the siblings passed the memory scan which solidified the court’s decision to allow Shouto to be placed under their custody and not Endeavor’s. And though Touya was an elite villain, because of the memory scan his word was luckily taken more seriously.
Despite all that, Shouto wasn’t happy.
The mean underground pro hero—an overbearing beta with a harsh voice—was designated as his guardian and was going to take him to the dorms later that day.
Shouto let out a little whine and flopped back onto the hospital bed.
He wanted to go and play in the pond and read books with Natsuo. Wanted to watch All Might documentaries with Fuyumi and learn how to cook from her. He wanted to train with her and Touya, to learn how to use his powers more effectively when fighting. Even just having them back with him so they could scent each other—so that he wouldn’t feel so lonely.
He let out a small Omega cry and waited for someone to answer. Usually Natsuo would send out a calming Beta call or Fuyumi would come and cuddle him for a little while, if Touya were there he would bundle him up and croon. But no one answered.
Or at least the one who answers was not the one he wanted.
A knock before the door opened a second later. The mean hero stood there with a bored expression, dressed in all black and had his hair up in a messy bun. Shouto turned away from him and huffed. “Come on, we don’t have all day, brat.”
Shouto weighed the pros and cons of ignoring him. Pros: maybe the mean hero would leave him alone—unlikely; he could sleep and maybe get the nurses to look after him again. Cons: his siblings might get in trouble.
He quickly sat up and slid off the bed to go stand beside the door. He refused to look at the mean hero who sighed again and motioned for him to follow him. As soon as they left the building, Shouto winced at the change in brightness before blinking curiously at the sea of cars.
This was something he didn’t think was real, just one of those things that films tended to exaggerate. In reality, it was literally a blinding sight as the sun reflected off all of the cars and into his eyes.
Shouto hissed and scurried after the mean hero. There wasn’t that much reflection in the forest, with the pond being the shiniest thing almost year round, even when it snowed. Everything here seemed to be clashing together in rays of light. The buildings, the cars, every other object in the streets. There were even giant screens that displayed posters with bright white backgrounds that made him wince.
The air was dirty and thick with unpleasant scents ranging from pollution to the disgusting cocktail of pheromones.
Shouto scrunched up his nose and scuttled closer to the mean hero. The man gave him a blank stare before leading him to a car. Once inside, Shouto was overwhelmed by the mean hero’s scent as well as someone else’s scent that was vaguely familiar. The dashboard was covered in various cat paraphernalia and so was the back window. The omega watched as the bobble cat swayed with the moving car, hoping that it would distract him from the nausea that the foreign transportation known as a car brought.
The drive admittedly wasn’t long so they arrived at the school quickly. Shouto sunk down in his seat as he gazed up at the dorms. He didn’t know if he was ready, he didn’t even want to get out of the car, so he curled up and continued to stare. A minute later, the mean hero stood in front of the window effectively blocking his view and opened the door.
Shouto stepped out without even a glance at the man and wrung his hands together as he just stared in awe. His attention was grabbed when he was handed a small backpack filled with some of his things and then brought to one of the dorm buildings.
“I know this might be a little overwhelming, but if you ever need anything just come to me or one of the other teachers.”
I need my brothers and sister.
The door opened and Shouto shuffled inside. He didn’t know what to expect, but the amount of the scents was...overwhelming indeed. He let out a small sneeze which caught the attention of everyone in the room. He froze and shuffled back into the mean hero.
“Everyone, this is Todoroki Shouto. As of today, he is part of the class,” the mean hero pushed him forward to awkwardly stand in front of the group.
One with green hair lit up. “Oh, isn’t that the kid that was found a couple of days ago?” A pause. “Well, I guess he’s not a kid anymore...but it’s so cool they were able to find him again. I remember when it first happened my mom told me to not go anywhere alone and I promised her that I wouldn’t and then got lost in the forest right after—it wasn’t entirely my fault—but I did get grounded for a while. Oh, and the time that my...uh...mentor...mentor showed up without notice, oh man, my mom was not happy at all. There was also this time a couple of years ago-”
A tall teen with blue hair and blue eyes came up to Shouto with a swinging arm. “Iida Tenya, class president. If you are in need of any assistance come to me or Yaoyorozu Momo who is the one with long black hair, she’s the vice-president.”
“I’m Uraraka Ochako, you can just call me Uraraka though! I have a gravity quirk! What’s your’s?”
“Kirishima Eijirou, hardening quirk! If you need to practice with a studier partner, you can ask me!”
“Kaminari Denki, the best person you will ever meet-” “You can call me Sparkle Prince though-” “Oh and don’t take any food from the bottom cupboard, that’s Princess Bakugo’s-” “Oh and I have to tell you about this time-” “Sometimes the darkness talks to me-” “Did you know, cats-” “Don’t forget the time that-”
Shouto let out a small whine and hid behind the nearest person who happened to be a blonde Alpha. He stuck close and grabbed the other’s jacket to keep them in front of him. The Alpha hunched over and then shouted at the top of his lungs: “Will you all shut up! You’re annoying me!” It fell from being just noise to a deafening silence.
The green haired teen squeaked. “Oh, we scared him.”
The Alpha let out a growl and turned around—or at least tried to. Shouto was keeping his iron grip on the other’s jacket. “Oi, let go of me, bastard.” The Alpha continued to try and turn around before giving up and taking off his jacket entirely. Shouto then met the richest red eyes he’d ever seen.
“Oh,” the omega let out a small noise and tilted his head. The only Alphas that he’d met were most of the annoying heroes that captured them and his oldest brother—everyone else had been Betas like the mean hero, Fuyumi and Natsuo.
The blonde in front of him suddenly blushed a bright red along with a few others as Shouto shyly hugged the Alpha’s jacket to his chest. The mean hero sighed and dragged Shouto away. “Okay, that’s enough socializing for today. Don’t stay up too late and then come late to class or I’ll make you run laps again.”
Just as they started up the stairs, Shouto could hear the students all explode with yelling and laughter. The most prominent sentence being: “Holy shit, he tried to seduce Bakguo!”
Bakugo swore he was going to kill the next person who asked him about ‘his’ omega. Like hell that omega was his. That fucker stole his fucking jacket which was probably being clung to right now considering the half and half tried to seduce him. He growled at his plate of food before shoveling it down in large quantities.
“Bakubro, can you help me with my homework. I forgot how to do the maths,” Kirishima leaned around the blonde to try and get his attention.
The explosive teen glared at him with all his might, but the bastard had become impervious to his glares. “Fine, go set up while I wash my dishes.”
“Aw, yeah! Group study time!”
“Yes, I need help with English please!”
“I’m having some trouble with science!”
Bakugo growled. “I didn’t mean you!” The group giggled and chased after Kirishima to blonde’s room to get ready for their study session. As soon as they left, another head poked in making the Alpha groan in annoyance. “Fucking Deku.”
Deku laughed. “Sorry, Kacchan.” Said person gave him a side glare at the nickname before putting away his dishes. The small might opened the fridge and started foraging. “By the way, Sensei wants you to formally meet Todoroki-kun since he seems to have taken an interest in you.”
“No way in hell.”
The greenette stood upright to look Bakugo in the eyes. When had that fucker grown to his height. “I know you wouldn’t be too thrilled about it, but Todoroki-kun seemed to have had a hard time before he showed up here, so Sensei thought it was best...er...suitable for you to be the one to acclimate him.”
Bakugo growled.
“Look Kacchan, he’s the most relaxed around you, I mean he tried to seduce you and not any of the other Alpha, that’s gotta mean something, right?” Deku stepped closer to him. “Plus, he said he would pardon some of your minor records if you do this and put in a good word when you intern.”
Bakugo hesitated and let out a grunt. “Fine, but if that half and half does one thing I don’t like, I’m dropping him.”
Deku chuckled as he watched the other go and right when Bakugo got to the stairs, he yelled out a loud: “Would that include seduction?”
“Fuck you, Deku!”
Shouto lay his head on the ground and let out a small whine. He could hear the people below him having fun and he just knew that one of the people in that room was the blonde Alpha. He scratched at the floor and rolled over to glare at the wall with the balcony door.
The mean hero had made sure to lock all of the doors and windows with special locks that would alert the man if he left. Shouto was therefore condemned to pathetically roll around on the floor.
He yawned but had a sudden urge to collect stuff. He stood and walked over to the closet which, once opened, revealed that it was filled to the brim with many pillows, blankets, and other soft items.
He let out a happy hum and pulled it all out and onto the ground. He started to arrange it on top of the small futon and last but not least lay the Alpha’s jacket near the head of the nest. He changed into a soft shirt and shorts and cuddled up into the many layers of blankets and pillows.
Shouto sighed and smiled when he heard the voices in the room below cheer. He turned his head and nuzzled the piece of fabric that was doused in the Alpha’s scent and fell into a dreamless sleep.
Notes:
They finally meet! Yay! Also I'm adding some scenes to the next couple of chapter cause I realized that the plot was progressing but their relationship was not, so I have to fix that xD
I kind of skimmed through this one, so if there are any grammar errors, please tell me :)
Chapter 6
Notes:
I'm going to be completely honest with you...I almost forgot to update...
Also, Shouto is going to be super blunt in this chapter because this boy does not know how to flirt

Chapter Text
Shouto was woken by the mean hero when he barged in and turned on the light. The Omega let out a hiss and flipped over to hide his face.
The mean hero wandered closer and Shouto huffed at him. The man sighed. “School is starting in an hour and you need to be up, get dressed and eat to be ready by the time the others start leaving for class. The same rule that goes to them, goes to you: don’t be late.”
Shouto was late.
Maybe he did it to spite the mean hero, but he had also wanted to cuddle with the jacket for a couple more minutes...or 30.
He entered the room carrying the jacket and looked around the filled room. The mean hero stared at him with a blank look and Shouto growled. The teacher raised a brow and the Omega stomped past him and towards the blonde Alpha.
Shouto held out the jacket to the jacketless—and tieless—teen and waited for him to take it. The blonde seemed to hesitate before grabbing it and putting it on, not seeming to notice that it smelled a lot like Shouto. The Omega purred at the thought which brought the classroom back to silence.
“Oh, wow, I’ve never heard an Omega purr in public at this age,” the Beta redhead with spiky hair flushed slightly and sunk down in his desk. “So cute.”
“Aw, why does he have the hots for Bakugo? He’s like the most aggressive Alpha I’ve ever met. Midoriya would’ve been a better pick, or Yaoyorozu.” A blonde with a black streak slumped over his desk and let out a disappointed sigh. An Omega.
The mean hero cleared his throat. “Okay, so we didn’t want to kick anyone out of the class for no reason so Class 1-A officially has 21 students. This means that whoever scores the lowest at the end of this semester will be moved to a different class. Understood?” All of the students tensed and many of them paled.
The greenette raised his hand to which the mean hero nodded. “Um, is Todoroki-kun going to introduce himself?”
“Shouto.”
That made the other pause. “Eh?”
“Shouto,” the Omega placed his hand on his chest, “My name is Shouto, not Todoroki.”
The greenette flushed lightly. “Er, uh, is...Shouto-kun going to introduce himself?”
“I just did.”
“No I mean-”
“God, this is a fucking train wreck.” the blonde Alpha was beautiful even when he swore. “The fucker is asking about your favorite color, favorite food, siblings, friends, hobbies. Shit like that.”
“I like the color blue, zaru soba, I have an older sister and two older brothers. I like to watch documentaries and play board games. I am fertile,” this made the Alpha sputter, “father my children.”
The blonde flushed bright red. “Fuck no!”
The classroom roared with laughter and many of them turned different shades of red. The mean hero sighed and ordered for them to all settle down. Shouto was then steered towards a desk stationed in front of the invisible girl. During class, he turned around often to look at all the others in order to learn their faces. He learned a couple of names, but oddly enough still didn’t know the name of the blonde Alpha that held his affections.
Currently though he was watching one of the other students write down the answer to a question which made Shouto tilt his head.
“That’s wrong.”
The whole class froze as the female Alpha with the ponytail turned around. “Why don’t you solve it then.” Her grey eyes held his.
Shouto stood to answer that challenge and started to solve the problem. The teacher blinked as they watched him solve it with no errors in format or in process. The Omega lay the chalk down and looked for approval which was given. When looking at the two answers beside each other it was easy to see where the Alpha had gone wrong.
The blonde Omega, Kaminari, gaped. “Whoa, you’re so smart! Please tutor me!”
The greenette, Midoriya, stood up with awe. “Wow! What level of school are you at?”
Shouto tilted his head. “My sister taught me. She graduated from teacher’s college.” The classroom exploded with noise once more before the teacher subdued them to finish the lesson only for the lunch bell to ring.
Shouto stood at the door waiting as student after student left through the doors and once he spotted the blonde Alpha, he raced after him. The Alpha looked annoyed at his appearance but didn’t bother with getting rid of him. This made Shouto happy.
He trailed after him and startled when a tray of food was thrust into his hands. He stared down at the food and his stomach growled.
“You probably didn’t eat, so here,” the blonde Alpha had his own tray of food and motioned for Shouto to follow him, “I don’t like people being late, it pisses me off. So don’t you dare pull a stunt like that again, you got it.” The Omega nodded happily despite being scolded. He met the other’s judgemental red eyes. “You’re so fucking weird.”
Shouto hummed and then remembered what he originally wanted to ask. “What’s your name?”
“Are you fucking kidding me?!”
Shouto blushed as he held the pillow closer to his body, the faint scent from the Alpha’s jacket still on it.
“Bakugo Katsuki, don’t you fucking dare forget that name, you got that half and half.”
Bakugo Katsuki.
Shouto murmured the name again and smiled bashfully into the pillow. “Bakugo Katsuki.” The name sent a shiver through him as he rolled around in his nest. He wanted to know more about the Alpha. His likes, his favorite color, hobbies. Regardless of what Bakugo’s quirk was, Shouto still wanted him to be his mate, to sire his children, and them to be each other’s one and only.
The Omega sighed and lay an ear on the floor to see if he could hear anything. There was no noise as of yet, but it did seem he had a study group, so it was only a matter of time before the room below him was brought to life.
“Alpha,” he murmured into his pillow.
Shouto curled up in his nest and waited with his eyes closed. As soon as the door downstairs opened and closed, the Omega had fallen into a dream filled sleep.

Chapter Text
As the week went by, Shouto learned more about his classmates and quickly latched onto the Omega sitting behind him, Hagakure, the redheaded Beta, Kirishima, the Omega electric quirk, Kaminari, and the green haired Alpha that his Alpha didn’t seem that thrilled about, Midoriya.
The class president, an Alpha named Iida Tenya, made him slightly uneasy, but the Beta, Mezo Shoji, was very reliable and not as scary despite the multiple limbs and the fact that he was the tallest in the class. The vice president, also an Alpha, Yaoyorozu Momo—or Yaomomo as she was called by her friends—was also not scary and would often help him with smaller things like obtaining nesting items and a list of suggested food to eat and what to buy for school.
Sato, he learned, was an incredible cook and liked to spoil the Omegas which now included him, and previously only Kaminari and Hagakure. The other Betas were also reliable, though Mineta was often too brazen for his own good and was punished accordingly when he took things too far—despite that, the small group of Betas were often seen together in the living room.
Ojiro, Hitoshi, and Ashido—the rest of the Alphas—were all in completely different friend groups, but got along well. The pink girl was most likely seen as a support Alpha as his Alpha seemed to have no problem with her and had been seen, more often than not, yelling at all the other Alphas.
Speaking of his Alpha, Bakugo had been tasked with the job of showing him around the school and acclimating him to the others. Successful...he was not—at least in Bakugo’s version of success—but either way Shouto was more than happy to be near the other.
More than once, the Omega was able to follow the Alpha back to the blonde’s room to lay on his bed as he had a study session. The first time it happened, the blonde nearly blew up his homework, but his self-proclaimed best friend, Kiri, was able to calm him down.
The Alpha seemed slightly less angry after that but still made sure that Shouto was not leaving the room with any of his personal nicknacks, bedding or clothes. Though the Omega was able to sneak a pullover out of his room by wearing it. The Alpha still hadn’t asked for it back despite seeing him wear it more than once.
Kaminari and Kiri pointed out by the time the first week was over that he purred a lot even though his Alpha didn’t seem to answer his affections. Shouto knew though that the Alpha would be his, he could feel it in his heart, his mind, and soul. Ashido even pointed out that he seemed to be softening up the angry Alpha while Sero, a beta, only sighed and shook his head at their nonsense.
When asking Midoriya, the Alpha told him about an old myth about soulmates. The greenette said that what Shouto felt matched up with what was written in the books. Uraraka had squealed and congratulated him on finding his soulmate while Iida tried to reason that some people just fit better together than others despite everything. Midoriya had only laughed at that and said that either way, he was glad that Shouto had such an impact on Bakugo.
Shouto thought it through and decided that, yes, Bakugo was his mate. Maybe not a soulmate, but they were right for each other no matter what, and he would prove it to the Alpha.
“Bakugo, what’s this?” The others watched as Shouto held up a bean-shaped stuffy of chikorita.*
The Alpha sputtered and went to grab the stuffed animal. “Give me that, and fucking stop going through my stuff!”
The Omega only purred and scented the chikorita. “Cute.” Shouto turned over and cuddled the green animal with a leaf on its head to his chest and pulled the blonde’s blankets up to his chin. He could hear the others laughing at his Alpha before the blonde told them to shut up and the room was once again quiet with the occasional question.
Shouto curled up more and closed his eyes as the others droned on. He could feel the slight vibrations from the noise below them in Iida’s room where Midoriya’s friends were likely having their own study session.
He felt slightly bad that they were working so hard to stay in the course when he wanted to be in general education. He wondered if he should talk to the principal about that...he would bring it up the mean teacher...but not yet. After all, he liked to think that the competitiveness of staying in the course was helping them do better with their school and training.
The Omega hummed and pulled more pillows closer.
By the time he was in the plane between being awake and sleep, the others had mostly finished and were starting to pack up. Shouto couldn’t hear what they said, but soon the sound of the light being switched off sounded and the bed dipped. He purred as a warm body settled beside him, though there was a barrier of blankets.
Shouto turned over and cuddled up to his Alpha and curled around the stuffy still clutched in his arms. The Alpha sighed but didn’t move from his position on his back.
“You better be grateful that I’m letting you stay the night, but don’t get used to it, you got it?”
The Omega hummed in response and started to purr. He continued to soak up the other’s heat before falling into a pleasant sleep.
Shouto stuck close to his Alpha as the group walked through the store, though he would occasionally wander towards something that caught his interest. Currently, they were on the hunt for things that Shouto could nest with since he kept stealing other people’s things. Bakugo had loudly stated though that he was only buying things for the Omega’s nest to stop him from coming to the blonde’s room.
“Shouto-kun, look,” Midoriya walked over with a large blanket in his arms. Shouto lay a hand on the blanket and his eyes sparkled as he felt the plush fabric. He nodded and added it to the previously empty cart.
Now a little more confident, the Omega wandered around the store, though at least one person was following him in case he got lost or needed help. The Omega started testing different pillows and frowned at things he disliked. The cart was quickly filling with blankets of different sizes, colors, and plushness. At least three pillows were piled in the cart and also a few stuffed animals made for babies were thrown in due to their softness.
There were so many plush things in the cart that by the time they got to the check out the others had to carry anything that didn’t fit—Kirishima couldn’t help but take a picture of the disgruntled Bakugo who was holding a floppy dusty pink bunny. Midoriya, Sero, Kirishima, and Uraraka couldn’t help but wince at the total price displayed. The Beta female even looked slightly ill as Bakugo paid with his credit card.
Shouto looked at the group before chirping and dragging them to the closest coffee shop in hopes to raise their spirits—no one had the heart to tell him that their low spirits were caused by nausea due to the amount of money spent. He made sure to pay for all of them and then bought some pastries to try and please his Alpha. The blonde scowled at the Danish his hands before eating it in a few large bites.
“Alpha,” the Omega called. The blonde beside him jolted before picking up his coffee—Bakugo stared down at the cuddling Omega from the side of his eye. The Omega nuzzled his shoulder and curled up more. “Thank you.” The blonde grunted.
“Whatever, but you fucking owe me for all of that shit, got it?” Shouto nodded vigorously before letting out a small purr. The Omega rearranged himself as the blonde slightly slouched at the sudden attention from the patrons and employees that heard the Omega. The group snickered slightly before settling to finish their treats.
The Omega wrapped his arms around his Alpha’s to cuddle closer. He let out another little purr before closing his eyes.
“Goddammit, don’t go to fucking sleep.” ... “Oi!”

Chapter 8
Notes:
I did not take into account that I would be busy and then get distracted...either way here's the update! Sorry for the delay, it's been super busy with holidays coming up.
Chapter Text
Kirishima watched from the island as the newest member of their class flipped the pancakes with skill. The Beta couldn’t help but stare at the odd Omega as he cooked a breakfast for Bakugo. The redhead almost laughed at the thought.
Who knew that the lost Omega would choose Bakugo as their potential mate rather than any of the other eligible Alphas or Betas.
Shouto sure was a strange one indeed.
“Kiri,” the Omega chirped, “taste.” A plate of pancakes was slid right in front of him making the redhead’s mouth water. Blueberry.
“Thank you very much, Shou-chan,” he slathered the pancakes in butter and jam before devouring them. “They’re really good. I’m sure Bakugo will love them.” The Omega purred happily and continued on with cooking. Another thing odd about the other: purring—an act that was usually kept in private once the Omega presented. All dynamics were able to purr at one point or another, but Alphas and Betas lose the ability to do so while Omega’s seem to amplify it.
Slowly, the rest of the class trickled into the kitchen, encouraged by the smell of the Omega’s fantastic cooking. Shouto chirped at the number of people and gave them some, but kept a large portion separate for Bakugo.
Said person walked into the kitchen just as the others sat down.
Bakugo stared at them all and then his eyes shifted to land on the plate of pancakes that was offered to him. Everyone held their breath as he took the plate and started to prepare the food. He took a bite and the class watched like hawks to see his reaction.
“They’re okay.”
The whole class showed a variety of expressions at the Alpha’s statement. From exasperation, frustration to downright murderous, however the calming scent of an Omega made them pause.
Shouto was practically glowing despite the less than terrific review. He chirped. “I’ll do my best to improve!” Bakugo grunted and out of Kirishima’s eye he could see Uraraka stuff a whole pancake in her mouth in order to not squeal at the Omega’s cuteness.
Midoriya’s eyes were practically shining with happiness at the sight of a content Omega and Kirishima himself could feel his insides turn to mush at the sight of Shouto.
Kaminari fake wailed at the innocence of the other Omega and Shinsou’s face was flushed slightly due to not being used to seeing an Omega like that. Hagakure flapped her arms like they were wings, Ashido convulsed in excitement and Tokoyami nodded (Kirishima couldn’t dissect why he was nodding though...such an odd yet manly Beta).
Shouto rocked on his feet and then pushed the alpha slightly. “Alpha, when do we leave for school?” Alpha?
“Alpha?” Many of their classmates exclaimed as they gawked at the duo.
“Alpha.” Shouto chirped. Kirishima let out an amused sigh as he watched his blonde friend turn slightly pink.
“Who the hell said you’re walking with me?”
Shouto tilted his head. “But didn’t the mean hero tell you that you have to care for me?” Mean hero?
“M-mean hero,” Midoriya stuttered and blinked, “you don’t mean...Aizawa-sensei...do you?”
“Mean hero,” the Omega muttered. A couple of their classmates started to chuckled and Kirishima could only sigh once again.
“Yo, Bakubro, we should get ready to head out,” Kirishima stood and put away his dishes. The blonde grunted, but stood and cleaned up as well. This spurred the others into moving, and make Iida gasp and lecture the others about getting distracted.
The class oddly enough walked in a big clump from Heights Alliance to the classroom, which the redhead knew was irritating Bakugo. Shouto was chipper as he droned on about his family and then paused to look around.
“Mother!” The Omega yelled out and ran in a different direction, making most of the group of students race after him. When they caught up, they saw the number 2 hero, Hawks, hugging him tightly.
“Hey, Shou, how is school going so far?” The older Beta ran a hand through the Omega’s hair making him purr. The hero laughed when the other didn’t bother to answer and instead continued to soak up the attention. “Oh, are these your classmates?”
Shouto nodded and then pointed directly at Bakugo. “Alpha.”
Hawks stared at the student before letting out a laugh. “Man, Touya is not going to be happy when he finds out about this. Ah, speaking of Touya, his, uh, meeting is happening in a couple of weeks, and by then the others will be ready to take you in. Fuyumi said something about a house, but we’ll see about that.”
The Omega nodded before the hero shooed them all to class causing Iida to once again gasp and spurred him into herding the whole class to their classroom. Aizawa stood at the podium waiting for them, and with a glare sent a couple of the students into snickers. Their teacher continued to glared at them as if he knew why they were laughing at him.
Kirishima watched as Shouto strolled past the teacher and sat in his seat. The Omega didn’t bother with getting out anything to write notes with and instead took to making origami figures. The redhead noticed a couple of people watching the duel haired teen rather than the teachers, causing them to be reprimand. Whenever a figure was done, the Omega would stand up, regardless of the time, and place it onto Bakugo’s desk. The Alpha would then fidget every time he looked at them and would sometimes flick them at random times—though he took care to not damage them and would pick them up if they happened to fall on the ground.
The teachers could only stare incredulously at the pile of origami but didn’t say anything as happy Omega pheromones continued to fill the room.
Kirishima snickered as he watched his friend stuff all of the gifts into his school bag and then leave with Shouto right behind him. He quickly packed up his things and followed them with the rest of the squad rushing to catch up.
“Dude, I never thought Bakugo would actually let anyone follow him willingly, like ever.” Kaminari shouldered his bag and nudged Kirishima. Sero sidled up beside the squad’s Omega and hummed. Ashido grabbed Kirishima’s shoulders and let out a high pitched squeal. Kirishima could only wince as he was shaken violently.
“Okay, let’s hurry up before, uh, things happen,” The redhead frowned at his choice of words that made the others give shit-eating grins.
“Will you stop following me, it’s fucking annoying,” Bakugo dropped his bag on his floor and continued to scroll through his phone for the latest hero news. The Omega chirped and opened up the Alpha’s bag in order to dump all of the origami onto the carpet. The blonde sighed and then let out a growl as his clingy classmates burst into his room.
“Yo, what is up my bro,” Sparky patted Bakugo on the shoulder before flopping down on the floor, “we came here as chaperones. Don’t want you two doing anything you shouldn’t.”
The Alpha let out a growl. “Like we ever fucking would. I’m just stuck with babysitting this fucker until he gets more acquainted with the school, then I can dump him back onto his siblings.” And somehow one week isn’t enough time to get acquainted for whatever fucking reason. Also, what the fuck did the Omega mean by ‘care for’, I’m not his mother.
“You don’t want to meet them?” The damned Omega stared up at him with bright eyes. “They’re nice. There is Touya-nii-chan, Fuyumi-nee-chan and Natsuo-nii-chan. Touya-nii-chan was always gone because of work and Fuyumi-nee-chan was hardly home because she also had work, but before that she had school. Natsuo-nii-chan took care of me since I was little, but he sucked at it until Fuyumi-nee-chan taught him.”
Bakugo sighed. “Great, thanks for the fucking unnecessary backstory.”
Shitty hair sighed and dropped his bag on the floor too. “Be a little gentler, dude. I thought we were past the whole ‘everyone fucking sucks’ stage.” The other three traitors let out little snickers. The redhead lay his hand on the Omega’s duel hair and ruffled it. He purred which made the others smile.
Bakugo frowned.
All he wanted to do was kick them all out, but he knew that if he did they would come right back and bug him. Unfortunately for him though, it seemed the fucking new Omega was clingy as fuck, which would make him the bad guy if he kicked him out. Plus, once the others found out he was going to be doing homework anyway after kicking them out, they would just force him through a painfully unproductive study session.
Hopefully this time the others wouldn’t convince him to let the Omega sleep in his bed like last time, or he swore he was going to lose it.
The Alpha let out a frustrated growl before setting up the table. “Sit down, or I’m not helping.” The others cheered and sat down on the floor to get all of their things out. The Omega took this time to climb up onto Bakugo’s bed and roll around on it. Then the fucker had the audacity to start scent marking a couple of his pillows, make himself into a living burrito and proceed to fall asleep in the makeshift nest made of Bakugo’s things. Again.
Bakugo did not buy all that shit from the store for this to happen.
“Aw, he’s so adorable! I could just eat him up!” Pinky squealed and took multiple photos of the Omega before Shitty hair forced her to sit, most likely sensing Bakugo’s impending rage.
“Now pay attention because we all know I won’t tell you twice.” He’ll leave that fucker be...for now.
Chapter Text
Shouto skipped down the road alongside his brother, sister, and Hawks. He chirped now and then knowing that they were heading to see their new house that UA had graciously offered to buy and build for them.
The Omega let out a happy chirp as soon as he saw the building. It was almost the exact replica of their forest cabin, albeit bigger, but it was also updated to protocol, had internet access, proper running water and drains, and was less worn down. The property even had the replica of their pond and a couple of the trees that were in the yard, though instead of forest surrounding the cabin, there were tall bushes to block any of the neighbor’s curious gazes.
“Wow, they did a good job!” Natsuo stood in shock at the edge of the property.
Fuyumi nodded. “Yep, I also asked them to make the front room a bit bigger and had them put in three new bedrooms so that we wouldn’t all be sharing one anymore.” She motioned for the other three to step inside. Shouto purred as he settled on top of the new couch. Fuyumi laughed. “Yeah, I also got to pick a lot of the furniture! With the extra space, we can now invite Shouto’s friends over and when Hawks stays over we won’t be cramped anymore. Also, the new fridge is bigger and we finally have a use for a freezer!”
“Now all we need is Touya. Luckily his trial went in our favor against Endeavor, so hopefully that will lighten a lot of his sentence. I’m worried that he’ll still be shoved into a prison though...” Natsuo sighed and ran a hand through Shouto’s hair. The Omega chirped and started to purr.
Hawks let out a loud noise and snapped his fingers. “Speaking of an Alpha, I forgot to tell you guys, but I think Shouto imprinted on one of the Alphas at his school.”
The Omega nodded vigorously. “Alpha!” He exclaimed with shining eyes. “Alpha accepted all of my gifts. I want to have his children.”
Fuyumi rolled her eyes. “Sweetie, when I said I wanted you to take a liking to someone, I meant in a platonic way. Either way though, I’m proud of you, but I’m going to have to suggest to not have a child at this age.” The Omega pouted but nodded in understanding. She smiled. “Well, we have some more things we have to do before we can move it, and we have to get you back to school.”
She laughed at his pout and bopped him on the nose.
Shouto burrowed into his blankets, but at this point it was too cold for him to even hope to fall asleep. He sighed and then stared at the floor intensely before deciding what to do. He wrapped himself up in a blanket and grabbed a pillow before quickly and quietly making his way down one floor to his Alpha’s room. He opened the door and peered inside. The Alpha was dead asleep and exuding a calming scent.
The Omega breathed in before dumping his pillow in the gap between the Alpha and the wall and then slowly made his way over the other in order to lay down comfortably. Shouto purred as he stared at the sleeping face of the Alpha and curled in close to the heat radiating from the others. He fell asleep quickly and quietly.
Bakugo groaned and tightened his hold on the heat source in his arms. He crooned and sighed as he started to fall back to sleep. Then it hit him.
“What the fuck!” He sat up and stared down at the trespassing Omega before groaned in annoyance. Bakugo stood up and watched as the other whined and cuddled his pillow. Disgusting, he scowled when he felt his face warm and did the only thing he could think off: pulling his blanket off of the Omega.
The half and half fucker rubbed his eyes before gazing up at the Alpha and chirped. “Good morning.”
Bakugo growled. “Who gave you permission to sneak into my room?” It’s one thing to overstay, it’s another to trespass in the middle of the fucking night.
The Omega pouted. “I was cold and you’re warm.”
Bakugo most definitely did not blush at that nor did he slightly melt at it either. Not at all. The Alpha scowled. “Yeah, well, don’t ever fucking do it again or you’ll be dead.” The Omega chirped and stood up. The other hummed and walked out the door, causing a commotion which could only mean that the others were awake and unfortunately in the hallway.
“Bakubro! You sly dog!” Shitty hair pushed open his door and wiggled his eyebrows. “Didn’t know you had it in you. When’s the wedding?”
Bakugo let out an incomprehensible yell before throwing the nearest thing at the beta. The large and almost deadly maths textbook flew across the room and smacked the now hardened redhead in the chest. “Get the fuck out!”
The other laughed and closed the door but not before giving him a large shit-eating grin. Bakugo growled and stomped around the room, muttering about how stupid everyone was acting. It wasn’t like it was the first time the Omega slept in his room.
He sighed and looked at his bed before shaking his head. Stupid Omega, stupid not-not friends, everyone is stupid...everything is stupid. The Alpha growled and slammed his door closed only to run into his group of not-not friends who were staring at him with mischievous eyes.
“No.”
The group glowered at him. Sparky pouted. “Aw, why not? It’s not like it’s a huge secret that Shouto-kun is absolutely obsessed with you, for whatever reason.”
“What the hell does that mean? I’m fucking awesome!”
Hair for brains slung his arm around the raging Alpha. “Yeah, yeah, but admit it, there’s something going on here.”
“I don’t have to admit fucking anything...and nothing is ‘going on’!”
Pinky laughed. “We’ll see about that. You might want to soundproof your room though, none of us want to you two do the nasty.” Bakugo snarled at the other Alpha, which only made her laugh harder.
“Oh, you smell a lot like Kacchan...” Deku’s loud voice rang through the dorm, making a lot of the other occupants turn to stare at the Omega and then towards Bakugo.
“Oh, is that so,” Round face smirked at the blonde Alpha and giggled. Four-eyes started to lecture them about how improper it is for things of that nature to happen in the dorm which caused a loud round of laughter from others.
The Omega tilted his head. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, but Alpha didn’t have sex with me, he just cuddled me.” This made most of the class shut their mouths and blush at the bluntness, Bakugo included.
“Stop calling me fucking Alpha, we’re not mates,” the blonde muttered. The Omega stared at him intensely.
“But-”
“What’s with all this commotion?” Sensei growled while letting loose some calming beta pheromones. The Omega scrunched up his nose at that and huffed. The teacher sighed before shaking his head. “You’re all a bunch of brats. Just because it’s a weekend, doesn’t mean that you get to slack off. The training rooms are open for anyone who isn’t doing homework. Finals are starting soon and I can name quite a few of you that need to up their grades in order to pass. Remember, whoever does the worse in exams will be moved to another class.”
“Yes, sensei!”
The beta surveyed the group. “On Monday, be prepared. We’re having mock battles with Class 1-B.” The class cheered and Bakugo grinned with eagerness. The Omega looked around, hummed and then walked over to stand beside the blonde Alpha.
Bakugo scowled at him but knew that the fucker wouldn’t budge from his side for the rest of the day. He could hear Shitty hair snickering beside which caused him to growl before heading to the kitchen to get food. The Omega was annoyingly following him, though he wasn’t even leaving the room, and as not to seem like too much of an ass, Bakugo gave him a small plate of food. This made the other chirp with happiness which pissed the Alpha off even more.
He turned and snarled at the giggling behind him before starting to eat. The Omega had already finished and was watching him eat like a creep, and the duel hair couldn’t stop fidgeting.
“Stop fucking moving, it’s annoying,” Bakugo grabbed their plates and went to go and clean them. The Omega chirped in response and let out a small purr. The blonde flushed slightly before heading to his room to get his bag so that he could go to the training room. The Omega followed him the whole time and sat down on the bench where Bakugo threw down his bag after changing, though he did have to force the half and half out of the change rooms beforehand.
Shitty hair snickered as he patted the Omega on the head who purred in response. The Beta irritatingly took it with stride and ran a hand through the duel colored hair. The Omega purred louder and leaned into the touch before sighing with satisfaction.
Bakugo growled. “Hurry the fuck up.” The redhead gave him a mischievous look before joining him to train. The Omega stared at them starry-eyed as they train for a good portion of the day. At some point others joined them and round face decided to sit beside the duel hair for a break which made the other look stupidly happy.
Bakugo scoffed and turned to meet the sly looks of his not-not friends. He decided to give them a blank stare and fell back into practice seamlessly. At the ending of the training, the Omega was running his eyes over Bakugo with unfocused eyes and licked his lips. The Alpha scowled because he was definitely not blushing, and headed to the change rooms to shower. Thankfully the fucker was smart and didn’t follow him in.
When they got back to the dorms, they had dinner and all split off to do different things. Some slacked and played video games or watched movies, while the more productive people, like Bakugo, worked on their homework. The whole time the Omega was stuck to him and when they got to the blonde’s room, the half and half had the incessant need to scent mark his things, which at this point, Bakugo had given up trying to stop.
As soon as his alarm to get ready for bed sounded, the Omega was asleep on his bed, again, and he didn’t even bother to move him...again. Instead, he got ready and burrowed into his bed in order to shield himself from the cold with the added heat source of the Omega.
...Again.

Chapter Text
Shouto leaned over the bleachers to try and get a better look at the arena. They were at the location where the Sports Festival was held at, or at least that was what he was told. Both Class 1-A and 1-B were present and all geared up. A couple of the 1-B students came up to him to introduce themselves and ask about him and his life. He only told them the basics and then continued to ignore everyone in favor of exploring the place.
“Okay, gather up everyone!” Blood hero: Vlad King, the teacher of 1-B stood beside the mean hero to address the classes. “We’re pairing you up by pulling your names out of a hat. Your name will then be placed back in the hat with the possibility to be pulled again. After 3 times in the arena, your name will be left out from the hat and you will be marked based on those three fights. This is a special section created for exam preparation and as such should be taken seriously or at least be done in a way that you will learn from it. Due to it being like this, this day is dedicated only to the mock battles and tomorrow you will only have in-class lessons. Understood?”
“Yes, sir!”
The mean hero stepped forward. “We expect the best from you, but this is also the time for experimentation before we go into heavier exam prep. Make sure to use your time wisely and don’t over exhaust yourself. This portion of the course was made in order for you to experience what it might be like in the real world because you will never know if you have to fight another battle after just finishing one. Any questions?” Iida raised his hand. “Yes, we will be taking breaks between periods and for lunch as usual. Any others?”
“What about Shouto-kun, Sensei?” Asui croaked.
“He will be fighting as well. I would suggest you not underestimate his abilities,” The mean hero gestured towards Shouto who ignored him. The teacher sighed before Vlad clapped his hands and announced the first 1-on-1 pairing.
The day felt long and was nothing like Shouto had imagined at first. It was admittedly...boring. There were times that it was exciting and interesting to see other’s quirks first hand, but eventually just blurred into together but with different quirks and experimental tactics.
“Oh yeah, I’m done!” Ashido cheered and ran over to Shouto who had yet to be in the arena. “Yo, Shou-chan, you look bored! Want to learn how to dance cause I feel like celebrating!” The Omega sorted through the pros and cons before agreeing to let her teach him. A good couple of fights between the others and over an hour of practice later, Shouto was finally called.
The students all waited in anticipation for his fight as he stood across from Yaoyorozu. They bowed to each other and waited for the match to begin.
Throughout the fight, Shouto decided on not using his quirk, not because he was underestimating the Alpha, but because he wanted his quirk to have an explosive debut—hopefully because he would be up against his Alpha.
He came close to winning, however, in the end, the other was able to deduce his weakness and created a large net to entangle him. After that was the lunch break where he once again went and stood beside his Alpha.
The lunch was delicious and filling, and Kiri made sure to get him the best food. Shouto purred at being spoiled and was rewarded with more pats on the head. He liked this beta, if he didn’t already have a mate, Kiri would’ve been his second choice. It was a bonus that the other reminded him of his sister and Natsuo combined.
“Aw man, if I didn’t know you had the hots for Bakugo I would’ve been super jealous,” Kaminari hugged Shouto from behind and nuzzled his head. “Kiri is the best though, isn’t he?”
Shouto nodded the best he could with the electric boy’s head on top of his. “He reminds me of my siblings, the ones you met that one time. Also, my Alpha is most definitely the best!” The other snickered which caused Shouto to pout.
After the break, he fought against Hagakure and thankfully he was able to beat her without the use of his quirk and hopefully also wowed everyone with being able to pinpoint the girl without being able to see her. Then he went back to learning dancing with Ashido, and was able to learn the windmill before his name was called again.
“Wow, too bad you weren’t there for the cultural festival, you would’ve killed it for the dance portion,” Ashido patted him on the head and gave him a water bottle. He purred in response.
She patted him on the shoulder and pointed to the teachers as they pulled the second to last pairing. “Shouto and-” Vlad paused for a second as he pulled out the next name, “Midoriya.”
Shouto pouted when he heard the name that was called but decided it was probably for the best that he his final fight was against the one with a quirk similar to All Might. This way he was able to show his Alpha how good he was at fighting.
He stepped into the arena and waited for Midoriya to join him. Once the battle started he was off.
Kirishima could tell from the moment the match started that something was different. Shouto seemed to fall into a different headspace and then a sheet of ice followed.
“Holy shit!” Ashido leaned over the railing as she gaped at the display of power. The Omega then fell into an odd move that Kirishima had never seen used in everyday fighting and made a ring of fire around himself...by doing a windmill. The pink Alpha cheered. “That’s my apprentice! He did so well and I only taught him that today!”
Midoriya jumped wanting to try and get the other off balance, but Shouto sent up a large wall of ice in order to block. The Alpha smashed through the ice easily and was met with nothing as the Omega went in for an attack from behind.
Little flurries of snow surrounded the duel haired Omega on the right side while fire encased the left side. Shouto made a small gesture and an enormous ice glacier erected itself in the middle of the arena. The glacier effortlessly towered over the arena, and they would later learn that it didn’t cause any damage except for a little flooding.
Midoriya went in for a kick while Shouto built up pressure to counter and then...
Everything stopped as Aizawa-sensei activated Erasure. “That’s enough,” he called out, “Recovery Girl has already warned me about sending severely hurt students to the clinic and it is a conversation I would like to avoid at all possible costs.”
Vlad King nodded and raised his hand to keep everyone from speaking. “This fight will end on a tie. Do not be idiotic and try and find out the winner. Iida, Kendou, you’re the last fight.”
Kirishima watched wide-eyed as Midoriya ran over to Shouto to check for injuries before they headed up to the stands. The redhead turned to look at Bakugo as the Alpha stood up and stared at Shouto in a new light.
“What the fuck was that?” The Alpha murmured with no bite.
Kirishima could only grin. Oh, this is going to be fun.
Notes:
This is it. The end of part 1 of the series! I think it's going to be 7 parts in total with 3 other stories with multiple chapters.
The windmill move was inspired by the Zuko vs Azula Agni Kai from Avatar the Last Airbender.
Now, here's the question. Do you want me to update the New Year's part on New Year's Eve and not update next Saturday or update next Saturday and be late for New Year's Eve? I personally want to update it on New Year's Eve, but I would also like to know what my reader want!
