He woke up around 8:00 to the sound of birds chirping. It was a fine morning,he smiled to himself until he realised it was 8:00 AM? HE WAS LATE. HE WAS 30 MINS LATE on his first day at university. Crap crap! He fucked up
He jumped out of the bed to take a quick shower because priorities,he changed into a simple outfit,a brown soft turtle neck paired with his black, ripped skinny jeans. He went for his contact lenses but since he was running out of time,he chose his specs. He did his hair real quick,a little parted on the side with his bangs falling over his forehead. And Jin was all set for his first day! He looked good,when did he not look good?
He rushed out of his apartment,didn't have time for breakfast,he was going to starve uh what a bad start, he thought. Health came first for him! Jin never missed his meals,most importantly breakfast. But there's a first time for everything well. He took the elevator and exited his building,took a cab since he already missed the bus and in 30 minutes he was standing outside his new university. Not bad,he was a little late but still right on time for the opening ceremony.
Jin was an Omega,not just any Omega,he was a young,handsome and high in demand Omega,all his life he's been complimented for his beautiful looks,his build,his scent and approached by wolves of all kinds.To top it off,Jin was excellent in academics. He was always on top of his class,he even got into one of the top universities in Korea with a top score,thus making him a scholarship student. Good for him,since he lived alone and had to cover all his expenses on his own,scholarship was a big help. Jin was still very young,turned 20 just last december but that didn't change the fact that he was quite independent,living only most of his life after moving out of his parents' house in gwacheon to Seoul all alone,he worked hard and was satisfied with how his life was at the moment.
Jin entered the university, the building was beautiful,covering a big area with different departments scattered all over. It was his dream university. He was happy,smiling to himself and he made his way into the crowd of many other students. He got looks from different wolves around him,he was used to them by now,he sighed. He could smell many Alphas,betas and some Omegas in the crowd too most being girls,their scents giving him a sense of comfort. He went inside the big auditorium for the orientation ceremony and got seated soon. The stage was big,with a desk and mic stand in the middle. The wall behind had a big banner welcoming their batch. He waited till an annoucer came,a man in his 30s who was supposedly one of his lecturers. He told them the basic rules,details,do's and dont's,about their lectures and schedule,introduced some other lecturers and head of departments. It was all going smooth until he realised he was being poked in the back,he looked back to see the source of it and found a guy grinning at him,an Aplha,right. There it goes again. He rolled his eyes and turned to face the stage again. Behind he heard a little whistle followed by 'little Omega has got some attitude'. Jin chose to ignore it and wished for the ceremony to end sooner cause god it was suffocating in here and he was so damn hungry?to top it off,a desperate alpha was after his ass already.
To Jin's relief the ceremony ended soon after,he rushed making his way for the door to get out of the place before another encounter and found himself looking for the cafeteria. Jin could already see people were sitting and talking in groups of two or more,had made friends or maybe were friends already? Yet he was all by himself,alone wandering,sigh. He got himself a bagel and a small sandwich with a mango milkshake on side,took a table and sat there alone to feast a little. They were practically free for the rest of the day. All they had to do was to look for their lecture rooms,get a few documents signed in the administration office,take their schedule slips and a bunch of text books they needed. The food was pretty good here,he thought while chewing the sandwich.
He jumped and nearly spilled his drink when a hand landed on his shoulder all of a sudden,causing him to turn. Right there was a boy with innocent big eyes and a soft smile across his face,an omega at that. He was a radiant little Omega,Jin's heart warmed all of a sudden,
"Hi,I'm Jimin!" The omega said
"Uh-hey,I'm Jin?" He replied dumbly
"Hello Jin,you doing okay?" The omega smiled again this time,what a soft smile Jin thought
"Sorry?" Jin was confused
"I saw you sitting here all by yourself so i thought you had no friends,i came here to ask you if you'd like to join me and my group of friends?" Jimin asked kindly
Jin made a skeptical face since he didn't see that coming well to which Jimin replied 'we're nice people,Jin~' and sure Jin could trust him with that. So he nodded with a shy smile and followed Jimin to a table where two students were already seated,a beta with a boxy and friendly smile and yet another beta with a bright welcoming smile, they looked friendly he thought?
"Guys meet him,he's Jin~" jimin said sweetly and pushed Jin lightly towards the table. Jin gave an awkward smile and a small hand wave.
"Oh Jin,a beautiful name for a beautiful omega like you" one of them said while winking. Oh ok? Jimin shut him up by saying "Jin don't worry about tae,he likes to play around and tease alot, btw this is taehyung my best friend and this is hoseok,an old friend of our's" so apparently the beta who winked at him was taehyung and the radiant beta was called hoseok? Jin smiled at them. Then they started asking him some questions,no alot of questions
"Where are you from?"
"Where do you live"
"How old are you?"
"Are you single?" Followed by a wink from taehyung
"What college did you go to"
"Do you live close by?"
"Do you have any friends here"
Jin replied kindly,to all of them until Jimin put him out of his misery telling his friends to shut up since he could sense how anxious Jin was from all the questions,an omega to omega bond indeed,he smiled. They got into discussions and Jin started warming up to them too,he could call them his friends,right?
"Oh Jin,btw i saw you at the orientation ceremony,i was actually sitting close by when that bastard poked you" taehyung said while frowning
"Oh" was all Jin could reply
"You see,his name is Minho,we went to the same highschool. He's a douche,you should be cautious about him. Try to keep as much distance as you can" tae added
"Oh no,that douche again!" Jimin said with a frown, "jin try not to be seen by him,he's an asshole ugh i hate him"
Oh crap,why does jin always attract all the assholes he wondered for a while then nodded anxiously
"Yeah he gave Jimin a hard time too back in highschool,but we got rid of him eventually after filing so many reports to the administration. He's a sucker for pretty omegas,and you Jin,well your beauty might give you a hard time here" hoseok added with a soft smile
Jin smiled watching his new friends so concerned about him, " It's okay guys,I'm used to assholes,this is not the first time well. But I've kept my distance for the past years from douches like these,I'll stay safe. But thanks alot for worrying"
"Omg did you just blush thanking us? Shutupppp" tae said dramatically, holding his chest tight
Jin blushed even more to that,can't blame him,he was shy.
"He's so cute i swear to God,i haven't ever seen someone like him,oh jinnie" Jimin chirped
Well the day went pretty well with them exchanging numbers,looking for lecture rooms together and doing the rest of their tasks. They had 3 classes together, which was great. Jin being alone in only his modern english and history class. But that's okay,they'd be together for most of the day,right?
As they were exiting the gym,a tall guy pushed passed Jin,slightly pushing Jin causing him to trip and goddamn he didn't want to fall right on his first day but thankgod he was saved by hoseok holding his arms and providing support. Jin looked up to the guy who pushed him,he paused in the middle,turned towards him and gave him a bad look,rolled his eyes? And started rushing back in? WHAT THE HELL
Jin was surprised,no he was stunned. Who was this rude ass dude,why did he roll his eyes like Jin was the one at fault here. Jin wanted to pick a fight right there because as much as Jin has a shy side to him,he was a brat in general and knew how to put people in place. He tried freeing himself from hoseok's grip in an attempt to go fight the intruder but his grip only tightened
"I don't know what you're thinking of doing but if you're thinking of picking a fight with him, i recommend you not to" hoseok said with an annoyed look on his face
"And why not? Did you not see how he pushed me and then the look he gave me,didn't even bother apologising and just walked away? Unbelievable!"
"Well Jin,that's Jungkook for you. He is like that. Just don't involve yourself with him, if minho is a douche,jungkook is worse. Not in the same way but he is scary so just stay away"
Jimin said with a worried tone to his voice
"What do you mean,Jimin? Who is Jungkook?" Jin asked
"The rude guy who just pushed you out of the way? That's jungkook. I know him from college,we all know. He was well how do i put it? The usual famous school boy,who's good at sports and all,a rich brat,very rude and cold as ice,scary in short? " jimin said with a sigh "just try to stay out of his sight,he's crazy,he likes to bully and all so like i hope we don't encounter him anymore"
"He was called ice prince back in college hah" taehyung scoffed
"He's a Chaebol,he comes from one of the richest families in Korea,so yeah he's like super spoiled and rude" hoseok added
"Well I'll take the advice but if he messes with me again,I'm not backing off anymore. He can be a brat and all he wants but he can't just go around pushing and bullying people and have it his way" jin said,and yes he was furious, because what the hell? He already encountered two scary alphas,that too on his first day.
The day ended with them saying their good byes and separating at the bus stop. Jin reached his apartment in 20 mins,and went straight to bed. Laying around just thinking about his first day.
"It was a good day? I can say that right" he sighed
"Well atleast i made some great friends, uni life won't be as boring as i thought after all?" He smiled to himself thinking about his new friends. He was now looking forward to a good and happy time through his uni years,
