Today had been particularly stressful on Sekijiro or Vlad King to his students at UA high. He was the homeroom teacher for class 1-b, the second class in the school’s hero program. 1-b always held some sort of grudge against their 1-a classmates. Sekijiro knew his class was just as capable as 1-a they just needed to stop comparing themselves and focus on their own abilities. His class had just finished their provisional license exam. This would now allow them to participate in actual hero work. And by some miracle everyone passed, even Monoma who was the problem child of the class. Yet against all odds they succeeded, letting Sekijiro go home and get some well-deserved rest from the day. He pulled off his yellow face visor as he turned the key to his apartment door. A loud hoarse bark came from behind the door as he opened it. “Hey, hey buddy it's me okay calm down,” Sekijiro said to his bulldog Mammoth. No matter how many times he would return home, the dog would still bark knowing it was his owner.

“How was work?” Another voice called from somewhere in the apartment. “A little crazy to be honest, but you’d already knew that how was class 1-a?” Sekijiro asked removing his gloves and other support gear. He landed on the plush sofa in the living room. “As well as you’d expect from the future heroes of UA. Two of the students got caught up in a personal matter during the test. They tried to make up for it but it didn’t save them from failing.” A tall, imposing individual stepped out of the master bedroom. Wearing a white high collar suit, decorated with diamonds shaped studs that looked like teeth, black dress shoes and a black whale like cape. He was currently undoing the ridiculous pink tie around his neck. Sekijiro chuckled, “Have fun playing the villain, Kugo?” Throwing the tie onto the bed, “Does it count as fun if you’re trapped inside a fire tornado?” He responded pulling on his collar.

It was a little-known fact that Sekijiro Kan and Kugo Sakamata better known as Vlad King and Gang Orca were lovers. The pro heroes did well to keep their personal life private and away from the eyes of the media. Lovers wasn’t exactly accurate they were engaged rather. They had dated for two and a half years under the radar and Kugo popped the question not long after. Only a select few knew about the relationship, some of Sekijiro’s coworkers and the principle at the school. Orca didn’t dare speak of it to anyone out of his closest circle of friends like Best Jeanist, Tiger, Selkie, and Edgeshot. The two did have marriage bands but didn’t wear that often, for them it was symbolic for themselves than for others. His hero outfit was obnoxious at times, did the collar have to be so high? It certainly didn’t help his image of being a hero.

Once that was gone he went into the living room to greet his fiancé. “Its good to hear that your class passed. I know how much they worry you sometimes.” Kugo said hugging Sekijiro from behind the couch. “You have no idea what kind of trouble those kids can cause. Mostly Monoma I swear that kid is two parts socially awkward and one-part psychotic.” He laughed. “Considering the way you talk about him, I’m not surprised.” Kugo smirked giving him a peck on the cheek.

“Now if you excuse me I’m going to shower, this suit can’t handle sweat.” Sekijiro stood up heading toward the bedroom. That being said Kugo followed his lead, “In that case I’ll join you.” The master bathroom shower was more than capable holding the two six-foot-tall heroes. Marble taupe title on the floor and white title wall, glass sliding doors, a large square shower head, two wall niches and two benches on each side. Sekijiro pried his damp skin tight costume and let it drop. Kugo was already in the shower, being an Orca, his skin was constantly drying out. He was often seen carrying a water bottle to cool himself off throughout the day. Sekijiro stepped into the hot steam of the shower. “Come on in it’s the perfect temperature.” Kugo said welcomingly.

Sekijiro felt immediate relief as the hot water ran over his tensed muscles. “Why does a hot shower always feel so good after work?” The blood hero asked wetting his grey hair. “Because it just washes all your problems away.” Kugo joked rubbing his hands-on Seki’s back. The men began cleaning themselves, Seki scrubbing his head with shampoo and Kugo lathering in body wash. As the soap bubbles escaped his leathery skin Kugo noticed a gash on his right forearm. “Hmm I forgot about that…” He mumbled to himself. “Forget about what?” Sekijiro turned his head. “Oh, just this.” Kugo faced him presenting his arm. “Its just a scrape I got at the exam. That Midoriya boy was impressive, a lot of spunk.” He took the other man’s arm wounded around in his. “That restraining gear must have been a pain to work in?” Sekijiro teased. But before Kugo could answer, Seki kissed the injured arm causing him to instinctively respond. Sekijiro had a long thin scar that went down the left half of his neck. Although very faded Kugo quickly nabbed the spot with his mouth, kissing him up and down. Sekijiro laughed at the playful behavior the number ten hero would display during these intimate moments.

shower

However, it became evidently clear of where the situation was going, Kugo was biting and licking at Seki’s neck. Eventually he roughly pinned Sekijiro against the wall, the blood hero allowed his partner to continue. Kugo pulled him closer one hand under his back and pressed himself onto him. As their hips met a bulge unsheathed from in between kugo’s legs. Much like an actual Orca whale, his genitalia was its own appendage. Mostly to help the mating creatures from disjointing in the water. For humans that feature was unnecessary they weren’t going anywhere. It made its way to Sekijiro’s clit simulating it to open. The hero released a moan as Kugo entered him, “Easy, easy…” The taller man cooed softly. Sekijiro grabbed on to the Orca man’s neck to steady himself. The scolding water pouring down them in the heated moment. His whole body twitched with pleasure as his other thrusted him. Each minute got harder and faster so much so Seki was holding on to Kugo for dear life. “Sakamata you drop me, I swear…!” Sekijiro hissed calling the hero by his last name. “I won’t…” Kugo replied in a breathless gasp. When they as last reached the climax, it left them ragged. Kugo gently placed Sekijiro on the shower bench and cleaned him off of any mess that may have been made. “For having a rough day, you sure put me through it.” Sekijiro pestered him smiling. Kugo pushed his forehead on Seki’s, “Asshole…” He said playfully.

He carried Seki out of the bathroom and laid him out on the bed to relax. Meanwhile Kugo got dressed into more causal comfortable clothing. “You must be very proud of your class and the progress they’ve made.” He said putting on a blue t-shirt. Sekijiro sat up to adjust his position so he could face his significant other. “I am, they’ve come such a long way since the day I meet them. Class 1-a will be in for a surprise.” Sekijiro said. Once dressed Kugo joined him on the bed propping his head up by hand, his elbow on a pillow. “It makes sense you’re basically the dad of class b.” He joked. “I guess that’s true in more ways than one.” Sekijiro agreed facing him. “So, what’s for dinner tonight?” Kugo grinned, “Sushi.” Seki rolled his eyes of course it was. “Stop it I’ll make your favorite veggie rolls.” He kissed Seki and slid off the bed to the kitchen. They took turns cooking every night, when they first start dating neither of them were very good at it. Mostly going to restaurants or ordering take out. Fortunately, one their fellow pro-heroes and friend Edgeshot invited Kugo to a cooking class at the city’s rec center. The rice sat in the steamer as Kugo cut the fish and vegetables.

Mammoth ran into the kitchen when he heard the sound of food being prepped. He begged at Kugo’s feet his tongue lazily hanging out. He tried to ignore the dog’s loud insistent whining but Sekijiro had spoiled this dog rotten. The hero shook his head, “Fine.” He reached into a jar that held the canine’s treats. He tossed it to the floor watching Mammoth chase after it. Molding the rice and fish on the maki and rolling it neatly on the bamboo mat. He placed the finished rolls onto a plate and started work on the miso soup. “Smells great babe.” Sekijiro came from behind wrapping his arms around his fiancé’s waist. “Well its almost done mind setting the table?” Sekijiro nodded, he laid out the chopsticks and napkins on the small table as Kugo set down the food. They discussed the usual everyday after work while eating, “I heard you’re going to be in charge of the license retakes for the students who didn’t pass.” Sekijiro inquired. “Yes, I not entirely sure what the exercise for the retake will be but I know for a fact I’ll be seeing young Todoroki and Yoarashi there. Those two have some issues to work out.” Kugo retorted biting into the sushi. “Its then I forget that they’re still kids, so hard to think about sometimes.”

“I know it is Kugo, but these kids made that choice when they entered schooling for heroes.” Sekijiro added. “you wanted to talk about anything else?” He chewed quietly. The black and white hero turned his head away slightly as he spoke. “Do ever see us telling the rest of the world about us?” Sekijiro glared at him for merely imagining the idea. “Ku we’ve talked about it…” He glowered irritated. “My whole life I’ve been in the closet for more reasons than I care to explain!” “I was never in the closet…” Kugo mumbled under his breath. “Good for you! I didn’t have the luxury of the cis gender crap!” The frustration was escalating on Sekijiro’s face, Kugo reached across the table and seized his hand. “I’m sorry Seki I just… How long you going keep this a secret?” Sekijiro got up from the table running his hands over his face. “I don’t know Kugo, do you know how long it took me to find the courage to tell you?” He walked over to his partner placing a hand on his shoulder. “I understand Seki, I know how it feels with those vultures breathing down your neck.” Kugo attempted to sooth him. Sekijiro wasn’t in that boat alone about his sexuality that is. When Kugo had his big debut as Gang Orca he chose not to hide his skeletons. He came out as bisexual to the press and public, the response was what he expected. Some people didn’t like it, some supported it, and some people didn’t care. It wasn’t like Orca was on some kind of crusade or political agenda he wanted people to know, that was all.

Sekijiro was able to calm down and they finished dinner. The evening arrived a little after, the two were doing paperwork from their respective hero paths. Seki was grading his students’ written exams and homework. While Kugo was filling out incident reports from his agency. Usually heroes would have secretaries or sidekicks to do that, however Kugo preferred to do it himself. To him the process was painstaking and annoying but not everything in a hero’s career was glamorous. The orca hero emitted a low agitated groan “Ughhh. Why is paperwork so tedious?!” He slammed the stack of reports on his desk. Sekijiro glanced from the sofa at his irate fiancé. “Take a break then, no point at getting pissed off and ruin what you’ve done.” Sekijiro said. Kugo scratched his head, “I know I hate not having my papers filed away at the end of the day.” To him it felt like procrastination. “Take a ten-minute break and I’ll brew some tea okay?” Sekijiro offered. “Thank you…” Kugo replied his face buried in the paper.

The kettle screamed as Sekijiro pulled it off the heat and poured the water into a pair of ceramic mugs. The sweet aroma of peach wafted through the air, “Thanks.” Kugo said wearily gripping the mug. “Relax.” Sekijiro repeated. He took the other cup and resumed his work on the couch. Their work went on until eight forty, Kugo had most of the reports finished by then and just needed to file them at the agency. Sekijiro had his students’ papers already packed for tomorrow. They spent the rest of the evening watching the news or whatever game shows were on. Sekijiro passed the time throwing a squeaky toy back and forth with Mammoth. Kugo was flipping through the schedule on his phone, he was asked to give another lecture at Tokyo sea life aquarium. “Wonderful…” He moaned sarcastically. Sekijiro knew this distressed tone, “Come on Kugo you love telling kids about ocean conservation.” He smiled sincerely. “Yeah, only when their parents drag them back flailing, trying to run away.”  Kugo retorted rolling his faded auburn eyes. “You’ve got to stop thinking about yourself like that.” Sekijiro shook his head. “Easier said than done Seki.” Kugo looked up from the phone. “My whole life I’ve been judged by my appearance.” He heard this story a hundred times before, “No Ku what I mean is, stop beating yourself up because of it. Not everyone sees you like that.” The number ten hero shut off his phone and released a deep breath. He put his head in his hands, “You’d think it get easier with time Seki, but it’s a scar that only diminishes not disappears completely.” The blood hero scooted over the couch. “I know… We all have scars inside us. My parents left some on me since I six years old.” He leaned his head on his lover’s shoulder. Kugo turned to gaze at Sekijiro, “Your scars are beautiful, waga inochi.”

The analog clock had its little hand on the eleven when Sekijiro finally noticed the lateness of the night. He let out a yawn and went to wake Kugo, who was asleep propped up on the sofa arm. “Hey…Hey Kugo come on let’s go sleep in a real bed.” He patted him a few times on the back before he woke abruptly. Kugo followed his partner into the master room flipping the lights off in the kitchen and living room. Kugo pulled the sheets and pillows on the bed as Sekijiro dressed into his nightwear, a red tank top and grey sweats. Kugo preferred to just have a pair of shorts and removed his t-shirt. “I hope I can get some decent sleep tonight.” He said adjusting himself. “That can be said for both of us.” Sekijiro added and joined him under the covers. As he reached to turn off the bed side lamp Kugo wrapped his arms, spooning Sekijiro. “Hmm… No more funny business I’m tired.” He softly scoffed the other man. “I’m not.” Kugo whispered, kissing his right cheek. “A bit of tlc is all.” Seki replied the exhaustion draining him. “Goodnight.” Kugo laid his head on the crook of Seki’s neck. “Sweet dreams.”

bed

Sekijiro began to stir at the sound of movement in the bedroom. He squinted around for his alarm clock. The bright numbers on the electric device read 4:30. “Why are you up so early?” Sekijiro asked aloud. “I didn’t mean to wake you, I got called in for a meeting.” Kugo said fully dressed in his hero uniform. “The coffee maker is set for seven thirty try and to go back to sleep, hon.” He kissed Sekijiro goodbye and headed out for the day. He curled back up in the sheets and pillows to rest while he still could. The brash whinnying of the clock seemed to wake him just as he dozed off. His hand searched to silent the source of the noise. But the clock wasn’t the only noise calling for his attention, Mammoth was barking at his owner’s bedside demanding he get up. It was fair to say Sekijiro wasn’t a morning person, “Okay…Okay I’m up unlike you I can’t nap all day long.” He told the persistent bulldog. He pushed away the covers and walled toward the bathroom. Throwing cold water in his face to better wake up. He got his hero costume on, fastening the boots and gloves, and yellow visor. After a quick breakfast and a cup of black coffee he was set to leave. The campus wasn’t too far where he and Kugo lived, one ride on the metro and walk a few blocks.

He was greeted by his coworkers upon entering the high school. “Morning Vlad.” A gravelly deep voice met him. It was Ectoplasm the school’s math teacher, wearing his beige trench coat and black skin suit underneath. “Good morning.” Sekijiro replied. As he continued on Ectoplasm noted something amiss. “You and Sakamata have fun the other night?” He snickered. The blood hero’s face went red, “Shit. I thought I covered most of it.” He reached around his neck. “You’re fine, if you’ve got your concealer, I’ll help cover what you missed.” Ectoplasm offered. They walked to the men’s restroom, he handed the concealer to Ectoplasm and brushed on the skin colored foundation to mask the bite marks. “Thanks, the last thing I need is my students asking me where I got hickies.” Sekijiro said. “No problem Vlad, can’t go around showing love bites. Especially since the two of you being an item is classified.” Ectoplasm said. “At least you got someone at home to help relax.”  Stepping out of a stall was Snipe another teacher at UA, his hero aesthetic was that of a cowboy of the old American West.

“You know, there are other ways of relaxing right Snipe?” Ectoplasm inquired. “That doesn’t involve intercourse.” Snipe disagreed, “Nothing wrong with a fling every now and then.” If Ectoplasm had pupils, he’d be rolling them. Snipe looked back at Ectoplasm and asked the same question. “So, what do you do to detox after a long day?” He finished putting the concealer on Sekijiro’s neck and replied. “Sing a little karaoke, listen to jazz, stuff like that.” To Snipe that was child’s play. “If you’re looking someone to mess around with, I know…” Sekijiro entered the conversation. “I ain’t touchin’ Nemuri that woman’s is three shades of crazy.” Snipe interjected. “Hmm more like fifty.” Sekijiro snorted. The three pro heroes shared a good laugh at that comment. “No, I was actually referring to Ryuko Tsuchikawa aka Pixie Bob.” Sekijiro said attempting to speak after Snipe’s interruption. “She’s definitely what you call untamed and has little to no regard for people’s personal space. Heck I’ve experienced it myself.” Sekijiro recounted. “You’re joking?” Snipe said curiously leaning against the wall. “Back when I had been brought on to be the teacher of 1-b, it was my first time at the training camp. They already knew Aizawa, while I was the newbie. And Ryuko had me in her sights like a cougar. I tried to tell her I was taken but she wouldn’t have it. I had to tell her at one point I wasn’t into women. It wasn’t until Tiger laid down the law and she finally left me alone.”

“I’m guessing Orca didn’t take that very well?” Ectoplasm said. “Yeah when I told Kugo what had happened at the training camp…Let’s just say he was more then upset about it.” Sekijiro hid his face at the mere thought. “What he do about it?” Snipe urged him on. “He…He chased her down and threw her into the harbor.” His coworkers couldn’t believe it, “You’re kidding me? How did she not report him?” Ectoplasm said shocked. “Simple, she wouldn’t call the cops and promise never to make any creepy advances on me again.” Sekijiro ended the story. “Still interested?” The gunman shrugged, “Never found a horse I couldn’t break.” Ectoplasm huffed his disgruntlement at the words. The men dispersed to their homeroom classes for the day. There was going to be an assembly, Principle Nezu needed to address the school on the events that happened during summer. With All Might in retirement, the ramifications of the Symbol of Peace no longer being there to protect society. That responsibility now fell onto the students of UA the future heroes of the country. The guidance teacher Hound dog took his turn to speak to the students, although it was more or less a mash of growling and howling. “Uh… Alright? As you just heard there were students fighting last night. I know you’re not use to life in the dorms but let’s all be a bit more respectful moving forward.” Sekijiro said into the microphone. “That’s it back to the classrooms, starting with the third years.”

Once his class returned to their room Sekijiro elucidated his class on what they we’re doing next. “For the remainder of the school year we’ll be focusing on your training. I know that won’t be so easy but we need to kick up the intensity. Today we’ll have lecture but tomorrow the basic hero training resumes, understood?” The class responded in unison. “Yes sir!” The rest of the day processed as normal, teachers came in and did their lessons and the day ended as fast as it began. On the metro ride home Sekijiro got a call from Kugo, “Hey babe, I’m guessing you’re still at the aquarium?” He said into the speaker. “Yeah I’m probably going to be here a lot longer than I wanted.” Kugo answered his tone evidently fraught. “So, don’t wait for you I’m assuming?” He heckled. “Yeah…Yeah just ugh….” The exasperation in his voice grew. “I have to supervise a dozen whinnying, bratty kids despite the fact their absentminded parents are standing right there!” He nearly shouted. Sekijiro pulled the phone away as Kugo vented his frustration. Sekijiro could sympathize with his partner in this situation. To have children be afraid of him based on his appearance was one unfortunate case. However, when the children were misbehaving or causing a commotion under the watch of their parents, who did nothing to defuse it. That was a pet peeve on a whole other level. “I don’t know how you do this for a living.” Sekijiro put the phone to his ear. “Well, my kids are bit older. Try to calm down I don’t want you to lose you’re head over that.” He advised. “I know, I know I’ll probably be home late again okay? Love you bye.” He hung up the call. Poor guy, I know how much he hates being stuck at public events for too long.

A brief run with Mammoth up and down the streets of the neighborhood was good for everyday exercise. Despite his lazy attitude Mammoth was a rather energetic dog. Occasionally, he’d even out run Sekijiro on their walks. “Good boy, you’re getting faster each day.” He patted the bulldog's head and they began the trek home. Sekijiro was making dinner for two, however half of the meal would be going in the fridge for Kugo. The blood hero saw his companion sitting by the front door quietly whimpering. He knew it was just habit, Mammoth waiting by the door for whoever hadn’t come home yet. “Come on buddy, he’s not going to be home til later tonight.” Sekijiro glanced at the dog sympathetically as Mammoth resumed his spot laying on the ground. Sekijiro did some of daily the chores after dinner laundry, vacuuming, and the general neatness of the apartment. It was hardly ten o’clock when Sekijiro chose to turn in for the night. He knew tomorrow was going to be definite game changer for the students. He checked one last time to see Mammoth still lying near the door.

It wasn’t ten minutes later that Kugo got home, mentally drained from the day.  He shut the door and slid to the carpeted floor. Fortunately, he had someone waiting for him, Mammoth raced to Kugo’s side to welcome him home. The hero was more than happy to be home evident from the dog’s incessant licking. Standing up he made his way to the kitchen and saw a yellow post it note on the fridge. It read “Dinner’s inside on the middle shelf, love Seki.” It warmed Kugo’s heart knowing he would have a home cooked meal, even if he did have to reheat it. Afterwards he placed his dirty plate in the dishwasher and walked to the bedroom. He tried to be as silent as possible when sneaking under the covers. He learned he failed as two arms draped over his torso. He spun his head to see Sekijiro wide awake, “I thought you’re asleep.” The blood hero grinned, “Barely, I heard you come in and figured I’d surprise you.” Kugo chuckled and pulled his partner in closely. The two talked into the long hours of the night. “I know I say this too much as is…” Kugo mumbled running his fingers through Sekijiro’s hair. While the other man rested on his chest their hands intertwined. “But you don’t get enough credit for what you do with those kids.” Sekijiro glanced up, “You flatter me. But I’m not the only teacher at that school.” Maybe it was bias from Kugo’s point of view. “Heaven knows I couldn’t do it.” Sekijiro sat up at those words, “Stop saying that about yourself.” He leaned in and kissed him fervently, “It does you no justice.”
